I personally still would like a striker in Jan, as well as a CM who can also cover in the 10 and a winger who operates both sides. Thing is January is extremely tricky to do business in so unless it’s a loan, it will be difficult to get a striker with a proven record without paying big money.

Yeah very true in relation to MVE, but Scienza has been a standout player for Southampton in what has been a poor season for them by expectation, he can play left, right or in the 10, and he was very good today, quick across the pitch, very good close control and seemed to produce good balls...

Yeah I think it’s good to see this side of it to remind me of perspective, I will concede at this point I’m just frustrated he didn’t seem to run enough today and has missed too many quality chances recently. I just hope the tide turns in terms of his goal conversion.

Totally agree. I think the whole team played really well, I was disappointed, again, with Haji, but maybe I’m expecting too much of him.

I agree with all of this Tommo, in Rudi’s defence I do believe he’s not back in his full rhythm yet, but being able to have Torp push forward and have that competition in the 10 would be brilliant.

If you live Tile Hill side of the City then Malcolm’s had loads earlier this week, so knowing this I picked some up, but they did warn they had loads of people coming in for them and didn’t expect them to stay around long.

If this happens then it would allow Torp to push into the 10 and Neil would sit next to Grimes. Would be a solid signing in CM, so not adverse to it.
