    Legends day.

Myself and many hundreds joined together to see the legends from many decades down the casino last night. I would have loved it if Robins had made all the squad attend and asked every single one, "Do you think any of you will be standing up on that stage in 40 or fifty years time getting...

Certainly NOT the lowest position in living memory!

In theory we were relegated. The bottom half of division three north and south formed the 4th division.

    Ricoh gets a train station

This may cause problems unless they change the boundaries. At the moment you can travel all the way to Wolverhampton (spit) but not to Bedworth on a centro pass on the train. The Ricoh just falls within the boundary, which in theory means you can travel from Cov but not from Nuneaton or Bedworth...

    Coventry avoid squad crisis....

Players Bonus What is it with our club and contracts? Nearly £1m paid out in bonuses for taking us down. Like the only manager since 1958 to take us down and taking us to court for £300,000 loyalty bonus. Like many people from our great city I worked in car factories, can you imagine only...

    Inflatables At Yeovil

I would think twice about inflatable bananas, if one gets caught by the wind and finds it,s way on to the pitch the hand wringers and pc brigade would be straight on it. Beside that, it has been done, so the elephant is the way to go. (Until someone misconstrues it as YFB.)

    First ever Sky Blues game?

Can,t remember my first game it was sometime in 1958. The first game that sticks in my mind was xmas day 1959 v wrexham we won 5-3 with Ken Satchwell scoring 4. Ken also scored two in the boxing day return. An easy headline for the Telegraph Happy sixmas for Satchwell. Met Ken at the last...

    Sky blue special

With the opening of the railway station planned for next year just wondered if it would be logistically possible to run special trains to some away games. I am lucky to be of an age to remember the great times in the 60s to have travelled many times on the Sky Blue Special and remember what a...

    Thorn should resign - TONIGHT

Hello all, my first post. Regarding the comments, he was only a scout, player, physio. Probably one of the best players of my generation Bobby Charlton could not hack it, and failed badly at Preston. Alex Fergerson could not lace his boots as a player but look what he has done. Jimmy Hill was...
