Match Thread Millwall v Coventry Match Thread - Saturday 10th Sep

First away game for me for quite a while. Blind hope wins over bitter experience yet again. A draw would seem like a great result after what we have seen so far this season. We could have done with the local council's decision coming after this match, the local natives are likely to be even more...

    last nights attendance

Orient's end was pretty full. West Stand looked fairly full, 2 other sides not open. My ticket was for the North Stand but they decided not to open it up because of how few tickets had been sold - not informed of this until after I had traipsed round the ground to find a non-existent open turnstile.

    Bumper orient Following Tuesday?

I believe they have the same prices as us. Still won't be many from there. An Orient friend is refusing to go although he would love to see if their unbeaten run continues. As he says if he wants to go to Sixfields he will when the local team is playing there.

    MK Dons Tickets 30/10/13

The thread title threw me a bit - thought they had changed the date to midweek in October. The date is of course 30/11/2013, so even longer for us to debate whether we go or not;)

    Orient JPT Tickets

Probably need to buy tickets at a kiosk/ticket office rather than at the turnstile. Usually they have a small ticket office for away fans in the East stand but as we are in the North stand for this one I'm not sure what the arrangements would be. The North stand seats about 1,350 so should be...

    God Save The Queen

If we are to have "God save the Queen" as our national anthem could we change it to the Sex Pistols version instead?

    crawley town away first game

A number 10 bus runs about every 10 minutes to the ground -- the bus station is practically opposite Crawley train station. On foot it is only about 20 minutes (unless you've had too many beers on the beach)

    59 clubs have experienced administration

Notts County managed to go into admin in June 2002 but left admin in December 1993 - that's a feat! Quite a few went out of the league and so far have not come back or were reformed, at a quick glance - Newport, Halifax, Chester, Maidstone, Aldershot, Darlington, Boston United, Rushden

Comedians or entertainers you cannot stand

Very few "comedians" make me laugh these days. They seem to think that swearing makes them instantly funny - doesn't work as far as I'm concerned. Some annoy me more than others - Russell Brand, Jack Whitehall to name two.
