You can only have a ticket if you remember…

If you bought a hot pork pie from shed in away end at Chester (1985 league cup). Seemed strange at the time but was a good experience I never forgot. Much better than Delia's at Norwich.

If you travelled on one of 'Happy's' coaches.

    What was your first game

City v Wolves 1967 Massive game but I couldn't see a thing (I was 7) but remember my uncle getting me hot orange squash from the vendors that walked round the pitch with big tanks on their backs. I went with 2 uncles, one being a Wolves fan who then went on to buy me a Wolves shirt for...

    Immigration and Asylum

If you paid into a UK based private pension as younger people now do would you be happy if that the provider declared it nil and void if you left the country after retirement. Most people over the age of 67 weren't in a supplementary scheme when they started work as it was presumed that the NI...

    Holiday's 2026

Just retired so its holiday for the whole year for me! Just got back from 3 weeks in Thailand, off to Gambia in 3 weeks, one of the Canaries in May/June for a week then Canada in August for family wedding. Looking at Goa later in the year but curious of 'Delhi belly' so might pick somewhere else.

Match Thread Coventry City - Millwall FC Match Thread - Tuesday 20th Jan

Despite our attacking flair down the wings, we have of late had to many passes on the flanks before putting ball into 6 yard box at ths time being out numbered by the opposition defence. It was evident Saturday and again tonight. My opinion only. Good win tonight though!

    Millwall Ratings

I think some of the comments of Grimes are a bit harsh IMO - 95 passes 75.8 % accuracy suggests he wasn't that terrible, not that stats paint the whole picture! Esse who certainly looks class - 27 passes 77.8% accuracy - 2 games and folks are cuming in their pants and I think of Bassett here...

Match Thread Coventry City - Millwall FC Match Thread - Tuesday 20th Jan

Here's some technical expertise from the missus, in warm up both Wright and Simms looked spritely, there was no 'lollygagging' so we'll be alright tonight LMAO

It was more a figure of speech than reality. But his consistency of Hero to Zero is frustrating to say the least. I'm talking about overall play (team contribution) not goals scored.

Match Thread Coventry City - Millwall FC Match Thread - Tuesday 20th Jan

You could see Haji was up for it on Saturday in his 1st couple of minutes on the pitch. I'd give him 30 minutes and if he doesn't show same resolve as against Leicester I'd sub him and give Simms an hour. That would tell him he can't play only when he wants to. No doubt he's the best striker...

    Need support lads

I'm not religious either but since I was diagnosed with cancer 3 1/2 years ago I give an Aztec god of health a rub that I purchased in Mexico as souvenir. Its cheap tat but has done me proud so far. I've just given it a rub for both you and your missus in the hope you both come out of this OK.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Its often stated on the channel that he's been repeatedly asked to appear and always refuse's the interview above was at Labour party conference not GB news studio's. The stupid bastard probably got confused when asked to take questions from Chris Hope and that it was not Chris Mason of the BBC...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

It's a non story! 50 years ago things were said that wouldn't be acceptable now and rightly so. 50 years ago the population were served up programs like Death till us do part, Love thy neighbour, Rinsing damp, Mind your language and other programs full of racism or humiliating peoples...

    For any remaining non-believers

I'm at the point now of being optimistic about being promoted now. The last gremlin in my thinking is will Doug fuck it up for a run in the FA cup. He's apparently put pressure on us before to generate much needed funds for the club insisting fielding our best side to progress in those games...

Match Thread Coventry City v WBA Sat 22nd November 25 12.30 KO

Hard to predict this one! We should piss it but horrible weather effects some players more than others, I'm hoping for 2-1 to us probably not great at times to watch, the roll overs of our previous games(Stoke apart) I fear will become less frequent over the next 6-8 games. My wild card for this...
