Well in that case we can excuse the utter shite he has provided in his 4 years at the club at a cost of over £1.3m in wages.....

    Time to deliver, Andy

Oh, yes, Cody the 30-goal-a-season man.....:(

    Time to deliver, Andy

That is a fair point, Cheever....we all witnessed the 'negatives' of last season with our own eyes...and spent a lot of money doing so.

    Time to deliver, Andy

I think there were obvious mitigating circumstances last season...but these are surely largely nullified by the lower standard we find ourselves in. However, I think we should also see who else comes in....with the number of games to be played, quantity as well as quality is going to be important.

Mass Hysteria.....dampening in some I hope!

You ask a fair question, Cheever, but not really encouraging debate with that response.

Mass Hysteria.....dampening in some I hope!

Good comeback, KG82...what you got, Cheever???.... On a serious note though, do you rate our chances better than say the likes of Colchester...or Crewe?

    Bigi off to Newcastle

So, the barber's shop isn't doing so well?
  10. L

    Time to deliver, Andy

I agree, Kg82, there are other issues...but we have a new backroom staff (no Harrison anymore) so surely we should expect more? I think Cheever should wait to see what pans out over the WHOLE of the pre-season, as should a lot of post-ers. You cannot ignore AT's shortcomings anymore than you...

    Sky Blue Trust

Sorry, I forgot....SBT = no jokes allowed. And anyone who 'likes' your post (with the spelling error!!) is an even bigger fool!!! Or are you pissed off with my post because I rumbled your password????:claping hands:

    Sky Blue Trust

This is an idiotic statement, and shows why the majority of CCFC fans have no time for the SBT. SB50, I admire anyone who is getting off their backside to do something, but if you persist in comments which alienate anyone who raises any humour using the SBT name, or questions their action...

No Ricoh buy out and 54.9 million in debt

Offset against monies made by other companies owned by SISU? I don't know....

No Ricoh buy out and 54.9 million in debt

Some of those who wanted to believe without researching the facts believed his bullshit as well, Glen....that is why we need to consign idiotic comments like 'we are debt-free' and 'we are the only club in the Championship without an overdraft' to the history bin.

"They offered me quite a good deal but there was something I felt wasn't quite right"

To be fair to Torchy, I like his optimism, but it does reach a stage when blindly 'looking on the bright side' crosses the line and becomes foolhardy, and rather embarrassing....and this applies to several post-ers, not just Torchy. (before I am accused of another 'Torchy-bash')

    hudds fan in peace....

Welcome to the world of fickle footballers, mate.

    hudds fan in peace....

A poor man's Carlton Palmer. Or an even poorer man's Geoff Thomas.

"They offered me quite a good deal but there was something I felt wasn't quite right"

Apologies, I forgot that Teflon had the seal of approval from one of the most respected voices in world football....:jerkit:

    Takeovers/ investment

No mate, fair play if you heard that, but I just can't see it. In a world where there are so many cheap investments to be picked up, a geezer 10000 miles away wants to buy an ailing L1 football club with fook all assets???:(
