Of course and I'll be there Tuesday loud and proud and will enjoy it regardless. Still not confident in the slightest.

Match Thread Sunderland - Coventry City Match Thread - Tuesday 13th May

I've got too many scars from travelling to Derby, Sheffield United, Hull, Plymouth and Luton in the past 8 weeks to have any real confidence for this. Our away form is turgid and we are really easy to play against as the away side.

    Jamie Paterson

I think he's looked tidy in the other sub appearances. I just think you've got a lad there who's scored and assisted at this level for years. He's experienced and probably has a bit more passion than others. If that Allen chance falls to him yesterday, based on the past decade, he'd do better.

Shocked he hasn't had more of a chance.

Spot on. That's what happens when you have a midfield two of Sheaf and Grimes and no striker who can hold up the ball.

Match Thread Coventry v Sunderland Championship Playoff 1st Leg Friday 9th May

It's not about us, it's about Sunderland blowing away all those comments from this week about how they never beat us, haven't won in 5, haven't scored in forever. Usually Sunderland fans are booing the players off but they were lauding them last night.

Maybe. Could be overly positive like you in recent weeks predicting we'll do the likes of Plymouth.

The clapping completely ruined WLADITT last night. Was out of synced in some areas.

Yeah. An 88th minute goal is always going to kill the atmosphere.

Proper deflated this morning. Feel like I did after the United game last year. Such a great build up. The ground, the pubs, the concourse were rocking. The atmosphere was incredible and generally happy with the performance of most players. So proud of the club. It is remarkable after all the...

It was standard for the cagey first half but it was excellent in the second. Not sure where you sit but it was by a mile the best it's been in the South Stand.

Really? I thought the atmosphere was great and I've been critical for large parts of the season.

    Players celebrations

Fair enough. First time they've beat us in Coventry in our lifetimes. We'd do the same.
