    Congratulations

I haven’t checked but I think the appearance numbers you have quoted include a lot off the bench, especially the forwards. The club have explained why the recruitment policy after promotion. Successive promotions meant our scouting network was miles below where it needed to be for a premier...

    Congratulations

Kipre was suspended for an accumulation of bookings. The last two were for reacting to the ref not giving a clear pen against Leicester (yes I know you had decisions go against you in your games against us) and the other was mistaken identity against Stoke. He’s been excellent but with the...

    Congratulations

😂 Harsh but I couldn’t care less what other teams fans think of our team any more than you give a stuff what others think of yours. What I can tell you is that the team who won back to back promotions were loved, not just because of results (although that’s a big part) but the connection between...

    Congratulations

It doesn’t feel that pressurised and the team play in a measured way. McKenna is calm 99% of the time (he lost it when we weren’t given a pen against Hull in injury time) and that radiates to the players. If anything at times we look too relaxed and don’t play with enough intensity. Millwall...

    Congratulations

Sounds about right! We’re playing well but aren’t clinical enough. We should have won the game in the first half today. We’re not alone in that though, someone mentioned on Radio Suffolk earlier that Boro are having a million shots a game and not scoring.

    Congratulations

I’m not a frequent visitor so don’t know @Ipad Boro but I’m not here for your love. its just that after experiencing the lows of league one and then the highs of successive promotion I have some idea as to how you’re all feeling tonight so wanted to say well done. It’s going to the wire between...

    Congratulations

Promotion not confirmed yet I know but you’re there. Most consistent and overall best team in the league this season. Thoroughly deserved. Obviously I would rather it was my team Ipswich and I’m still optimistic about our chances of joining you but us aside you are the club I would have wanted...

    10 more wins does it

The start of the season was disappointing but looking back now we’ve started to click it’s clear that there were a lot of new players who were settling in and getting used to how we play. Based on the season to date I’d say we’re in the right place. You’ve been better than us over the first 28...

    10 more wins does it

I don’t frequent your board regularly, just in case I think I’m obsessed or a stalker! I got an email saying I’d been tagged in a message so logged in to have a look. I’m glad we’ve played you twice and got 6 points. I’m equally pleased we haven’t got to play you again this season . It’s clear...

    10 more wins does it

It’s 5 in February - Portsmouth, Derby, Watford and Wrexham in the league with Wrexham in the cup too. Tough but I think we’ll still be close to the top two at the end of February. Norwich away and then Boro at home in mid-April stand out as the games that will be pivotal.

    10 more wins does it

There was a typo in my earlier message. Should have said 40 (now corrected). Ageed and I think we will improve away. We’re a more settled team now. A lot of changes in the summer.

    10 more wins does it

It is. We were poor for the first few months of the season but we’re looking much better now and squad depth will play a big part. We’ll lose a few between now and the end of the season but I think we’ll get more than 40 points from the last 20 games.

    10 more wins does it

I am a Ipswich supporter and just came on to ask how many points you thought you’d get/need. I’ve looked at our fixtures after the game today and think we’ll get at least 88. It’s going to be tight. I think we’ll both go up although that late Boro goal last night had shades of when we went up a...

By far our best away performance of the season

There’s definitely a significant amount of truth in what is being said but there’s some embellishment too. I like Woolfy, posted as much on here when you signed him. He’s a good player and did very well for us. Being a local lad means a lot of people know him and his family, it’s hard to keep...

By far our best away performance of the season

I didn’t realise that that was your overall record in 2025. That is superb and should give you plenty of confidence that you’ve got enough to see it through this season. McKenna’s record in his first two full seasons was so good that it felt as if even questioning any of his decisions was a bit...

By far our best away performance of the season

I love McKenna he’s the best manager we’ve had since Sir Bobby in my view BUT had he left immediately after our promotion I believe we’d have done better last season. He was caught between showing loyalty to the players who got us there (Morsy, Broadhead, Chaplin, Woolfy and others) and being...

By far our best away performance of the season

As you say, your worst home performance and it was definitely our best. On another day despite our overall dominance the result could have been different. It didn’t feel like a cup final to me, but it was a bigger game for us than you. Leeds beat us home and away in the year we went up. Their...

By far our best away performance of the season

McKenna is a superb coach. Your take on him is a million miles from what he has brought to the club. No mention of your player going down on 25 minutes to allow a bit of sideline coaching and a tactical break I see?
