    Agree re BT, and he spends time bailing out LK who’s not quick, hence pulling him all over shop. BT still little raw, but all ingredients for a very good defender.

    Doyle thing was always fantasy. As mentioned above we have far greater needs across squad, spending the kind of money required on him would be silly. Very good player and needs to find a permanent home, but wont be with us. @Saddlebrains whats your contact saying generally?

    Yep can’t make my mind up on JDS - can’t be swayed by recent bias of 2months when he was excellent. There are serious defensive issues with him.

    Agree @Saddlebrains - sadly his legs went fully 2nd half last season. For the best to part ways if suitable. Think you mentioned, feels like another left back due - get impression this Spanish lad really is a project rather than here and now.

    I like JL - especially attitude wise, however he’s limited to really playing centre half in a 3 due to his pace. suspect he will want more game time.

    It’s then replacing him - unless we have that ready to go then why would you let JE leave. Guess that changes if he pushes it because of game time perhaps. but again, learning under Lampard for another season, that would do him world of good.
