Match Thread Shef Utd - Coventry City Match Thread Wednesday 25th Feb 19.45 KO

I'd have thought it was obvious. We decided to sell Gus. Whereas we paid Cal for months through a serious injury, and once recovered he refused to sign a new contract and left on a free. I'm not going to condemn him but plenty will and he brought it on himself.

Tactically - Lampard is pretty good

My wife made the point that flu has a long full recovery time. The extreme symptoms may go in a couple of weeks but one is sub par for a long period after that. Could this be a factor in the loss of form? The flu outbreak was in December. Are we now winning again because finally the players...

Match Thread Shef Utd - Coventry City Match Thread Wednesday 25th Feb 19.45 KO

There are three ex city players in their squad, plus Bamford. However, Mccallum is injured. On the one hand, they will be up for it. But they lost at home to Boro only a few weeks ago. Are we saying that Boro are better than us? The table doesn't think so. They just replicated our result...

A really good and passionate performance so far. If we'd played like this for the past 12 games we would still have a ten point lead.

I'd imagine it's because he's a midfield enforcer and we controlled midfield yesterday without him. So better to play midfielders who are goal threats.

Match Thread Queens Park Rangers - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 31st Jan

It's a very dull game so far. Weather aside, it's like a mid-May game between two mid-table teams. Looks like we used up all our creativity allowance greedily in the first half of the season.

They are controlling midfield. We cannot string passes together from the back through midfield and Rushworth isn't the best at kicking. Need to change something at half time.

I'd argue it's not obvious yet from his performances for us. If Tats were the same age he'd be worth at least the same. Can only assume Tatsu wasn't as good when he was 20.

I tried so hard, it would have scanned better as "I love him". But then he'd have to be called Ammo. Thank you.

Sorry, too obscure... a failed attempt at a double pun on his name: amass. I know Latin puns are not crowd-pleasers but hoped someone would get the "big fella" attempt.

Great work. Get them printed and sent to the club!

    Kai Andrews

From the little I've seen of him, I think he's going to have a decent career at this level. If he develops then maybe even in the premiership.

Is that true (Wright)? I don't rate him highly but on the occasions he does perform I doubt myself. If he plays well he's good enough.

I got it wrong. I've seen them criticising the defender playing Haji onside and assumed that was Thomas. Soz. Unlike many here, my weakness is that I don't care about football and know nothing about players from different clubs. I'm in awe of all of you that have a great knowledge of players...

I don't know why they are fuming. Thomas has to challenge and attempt to block. What do they want him to do, ignore the Tats goal threat?
