As mentioned on another thread. Our area as appears to be infiltrated with tourists! Good for numbers but far to premier league like. Thing is - if we do go up- we’re going to have to get that old atmosphere back as we’re gonna need every little help we can.
Far too many glory hunting tourists in there recently- dampens atmosphere and no bloody clue what’s going on. Obviously good for the coffers but turning into Premier league far to prematurely and predictably. Shame.
I haven’t read all this thread. BUT, whilst Rudi probably our biggest asset, we haven’t necessarily missed him, however without Grimsey we’d be up the creek. Our most influential player by a country mile. Just like a captain should be- the linchpin.
Brendan’s is not in the bestest area and is bit difficult to find. Rough directions - head down hill from the Biosfera and turn right after about 100m into an old commercial area.
I got a place there. The bar manager at Brendan Behan in the old town is a city fan and will have it on. Also if you ask the guys in Tequila lounge down the strip they likely will put it on unless it’s mobbed due to a high profile match
