Match Thread Sheffield Wednesday - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 4th Oct

Gonna be edgy, protest will cause disruption, as will the wind and our injuries. I actually think it's a real test today and won't be easy to play our football at all. Wednesday have surprised a few, Bolton away vibe to it

He's on track for 46 goals this season. Imagine 😂

    It’s getting to the point…

It's not getting to the point just yet. 7 games played 39 more to go, far too early let's just enjoy the season and keep the pressure off and the good vibes going

    Official supporters coaches

No need, the supporters club near me sometimes can't fill coaches to certain aways, they're more than adequate and do a great job

    Post match fans zone

Cheap pints at the bar, curry stand and live music after a 3-0 win, brilliant! Plenty were in there too very good. Hope we go back to those stronger reusable plastic cups though, much better to drink out of. Anecdote was packed and the concourse had a better atmosphere will do that again

    Jay Dasilva

Leicester can think what they like. They didn't score and our behind us in the league. Fatawu beat him twice and that was it, bta and grimes had him covered most of the time, if we're holding that against him after the other brilliant 6 games I really don't know what we expect from our players...

    Sheffield Wednesday "on the pitch"

EFL/FA rules state: "In all cases where the Management Committee are satisfied that a Match was abandoned owing to the conduct of one Team or its Club member(s) they shall award the points for the Match to the opponent." So a 3-0 win to us regardless of scoreline at the time

    Wembley again Ole Ole

The reason why is other sides will charge and we'll inevitably need about 90 points. That is a massive ask and would be an incredible achievement, we are capable though!

Match Thread Millwall FC - Coventry City Match Thread - Wednesday 1st Oct

Why? Away from home midweek with our 2 best creative players out. A point would be sound and doesn't mean we're not serious. 'teams like millwall' are pretty decent sides. A win would be absolutely massive, not just something to take for granted

    Wembley again Ole Ole

Let's just enjoy the season, not right to start expecting automatics we need to keep a good feel and just see where we end up. If it's Wembley then we're due a win and some luck there anyway, never a day to be sniffed at! I think we are in the top 3 sides in the division, but the only...

    Sheffield Wednesday "on the pitch"

Good luck to them with it, not nice for the good ones that their clubs going through that. I dont have much sympathy on the whole though they're mostly racist arseholes. Let's just win the game and not get any injuries, can't see it getting abandoned

Match Thread Leicester City - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 20th Sep

Why have they not been docked points yet? Consistently been getting away with financial doping for decades now

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

We still have a good team, but it's a poor transfer window and I don't think we can say Lampards been 'backed'. Losing Sheaf looks poor if we don't have a replacement ready, every other club seems to hold out for the replacement to be lined up except for us!

Match Thread Oxford Utd vs Coventry City Saturday 30th August 3pm KO

They lost 6-0 at home last night to Brighton's second string, albeit Oxford also rested a few. We 'should' be a level or 2 above them but as always, it whether we can go up through the gears quickly and put the game to bed. If we get drawn into a turgid game it'll be tough away from home...

    Would you swap…?

I wouldn't swap after what's happened since. I would however absolutely have preferred we got promoted that day than not, we'd have managed the situation much better ever if we did ultimately get relegated to the championship. 9/10 teams come back down much stronger on and off the pitch. Getting...
