    In The Times today

It's a very short time in football. Look at 5 odd years ago and Leicester. They were same league as us and just met luck. Bolton, on the other hand, were Premier League not long ago and signing million pound players, now look at them. I think if we got promoted this season, went back to the...

    Maddison to Ireland?

I can't see James wanting to be at Leicester forever and I could actually see him go to somewhere like Spain or Italy so being an international would be important for that development. Being an international seems more important than playing for ones own country nowadays, like Archer with the...

    Maddison to Ireland?

I think it's his way, possibly his agent, to get him involved with the England set up as recently he has been overlooked. If he is not an international his value would decrease. But, it is a real possiblitiy according to the people close to him.

Cllr Jim O'Boyle about the council / land for stadium

IF a stadium was built next to the NEC it would possibly be able to have its own parking so they would charge less. Also, the train service is ideal.

    Christmas is saved!

Robbie you are too kind. Most Sunderland fans probably think Luftwaffe is a aftershave. The REAL fans with ALL clubs are very decent friendly guys and gals and would feel sympathy with any club suffering. As was said above all clubs have a minority who everyone feel embarrassed to be associated...

    Maddison to Ireland?

Just read James is seriously thinking of switching to play for Ireland. Would this have any affect on whether we would get monies for international appearances?

Cllr Jim O'Boyle about the council / land for stadium

Living in Brum they have been talking about building a stadium near the NEC and Blues fans have been saying for years that they near a ground share because it would be too costly to run by themselves. When we knew we wouldn't be playing at the Ricoh I'm sure the Blues board took notice. This...

Cllr Jim O'Boyle about the council / land for stadium

I believe it's being turned into a rugby stadium after the games and BCC are actively looking for a London team to relocate

You are talking, and judging, a whole town and club by a few numpties who like to wind people up?

    Kastaneer

Even Premier league bosses, including Man City, say 23 players is too many. Why do you need a squad of bigger than 20 when only 11 can play? It's bleeding Div 1. We should have 20 players who are versitile. People online do these FA management sites and the power goes to there head. They...

    Christmas is saved!

When you live on the doorstep of two of the biggest clubs in the world you have to admire the teenagers that support the club. I do some work in Bury and it's a good little town full of it's own identity, something that is fast becoming evident in our fair city where the powers that be are full...

    Kastaneer

I really can't understand the problem other than forwards can't tackle. I admire his character and that slide was not exactly life threatening it was he just came in from the wrong angle. Also, the Portsmouth player had plenty of time to actually avoid him but in modern football they see getting...

    Spoilt

I agree with FB I don't wish to go back to the Ricoh. The problem is for Fisher, does he actually have any cash or does he solely rely on SISU? Is he independent in his actions or does Joy completely control him? Why have they not sort after other investors if they don't have funds? On...

    Exciting loan tomorrow?

I think you'll find everyone was off at Ryton yesterday, so nothing happened. Isn't it funny, everyone hears a comment by Robins and cryptically believe it's a loanee coming in? He said 'he made provisions' for the tiredness the players will be feeling after Portsmouth game. Maybe he took them...

    Michael Rose

Can you imagine the songs we can make from this about him? Michael Rose kicks the ball away, Hallelujah Michael Rose kicks their number 9, Hallelujah endless

    Matty godden

From listening and seeing both he and Mcnulty I think Godden has alot more self confidence than Mcnulty. Marc has many good points but Godden knows his strengths. The irony of it all is Godden is possibly our 5th or 6th choice and we landed him because of failures elsewhere, yet he looks like...

    Bright Enobakhare

He went to Wigan, one would assume, because Wolves gave him a year's contract, so if he does well he will be 'nearly' up to Premiership level and therefore maybe be able to play that level. He was only offered a contract a few days ago and if he had not been offered one possibly have come to us...
