    Midfield 3

Say as Rudoni and Sheaf are back fully fit after the international break what would your midfield 3 be going forward? It would be really harsh to drop Allen after yesterday but I think a midfield of Torp Rudoni and Grimes has a really nice balance to it. If Sheaf can get back to his best it’s...

Best 11 since return to the championship

Saw something similar on X so thought I’d ask on here. What’s the best 11 you can put together of players who we’ve had since our return to the champ? for me Dovin Ostigard McFadz Doyle MVE Sheaf Hamer Maatsen Ohare Gyokeres Wright

    Onwards and upwards

Got away with one today but that’s 6 wins in 7, some favourable fixtures coming up and some key players returning from Injury. We’re in a very good position to get one of them play off spots.

Match Thread Bristol City (A) 24th August 12:30 KO

Expect the same 11 possibly Dasilva in for Bidwell. Quite fortunate to win the cup last week can’t see us doing it again. That Mayulu for them looks a handful, I’m going for a 1-1 draw.

    Size of the team

One thing I noticed last night is how big we were as a team. Especially you swap Allen and Sakamoto for Sheaf and Wright. Thomas and Binks are tall, Bidwell is a good height for a fullback. Eccles Sheaf Torp and Rudoni are all 6ft ish. Simms and Wright are both roughly 6ft3 and EMC looks a real...

    Front 3 vs Stoke

Assuming Haji is 100% fit what would be your front 3 against Stoke? Simms EMC and Sakamoto were great last night but Haji was arguably our best player last season.

    Match Thread Stevenage (A)- 23/07/24

Never done Stevenage and a week off work so I’m heading down. Probably 2 separate 11s again. Hopefully Haji, Torp, Rapha are fit to play. Dovin be ready?

Player of the season so far?

Hasn’t been a stand out and you could make a case for 6 or 7 players but think Sheaf for me.

    Clean sheets

Last one was Boxing Day against Wednesday, 12 games ago. Going to have to sort the defence out if we’re going to have any chance of promotion.

    Team to play Leicester

What’s your team assuming no more signings? something like Collins Lati Fadz Bidwell Eccles Hamer Sheaf DaSilva Palmer Godden Simms Wilson Thomas Binks Van Ewijk Burroughs Kelly Allen Sakamoto Obikwu Far from our best team but not sure he would throw some of the new lads straight in with a...

    League 1

Looking at league 1 table Sunderland, Pompey and Ipswich all out of the play off places. The league looks a lot stronger than we won it. Only really remember seeing Rotherham and Peterborough and Sunderland as realistic title contenders for most the season. We done well to get out of it when we did.
