don't see why, im not criticizing simon, I appreciate the fact that he inferring extra info, I just want a bit more information so I know weather to get excited or not.

He could write something like sources close to the club suggest that the appeal won't be a barrier to negotiations, that doesn't break his off the record thing and then we know weather or not to trust the info.

both sides are the right people though, just one set of them is trustworthy, the other set of them attempt to mislead and misrepresent at every turn and the CT has printed large amounts of that spin.
