I don’t think you can say not playing 2 strikers was an error when we never do it. In hindsight obviously BTA shouldn’t have started, but I suspect the thought was he would have similar success as in the away game.

It’s called pressure lol There was no winning today for the players when people were expecting an absolute thrashing.

This set of players have given us the best season in our modern history and people are still gagging to dig them out 🤣

Equation nice and simple now. Win and we are in the Premier League. Securing it in front of 7,000 SBA will be better anyway.

Exactly, they didn’t look like the worst championship team in history today.

Sheffield Wednesday were decent to be fair. We looked complacent from the start, thought we had the game won already.

    Broadgate surely?

Yeah but the proper celebrations start at the final whistle I just don’t want any silly stuff like pitch invasions happening before it’s actually confirmed.

    Broadgate surely?

that's how it works? It's like being 3-0 up with a minute left in a cup final, you still wait for the ref to blow the whistle before you start celebrating?

    Broadgate surely?

genuinely makes my brain hurt that people are contemplating that

It is slightly out of the ordinary but that was explained when he signed. They didn't expect him to make an instant impact.

Yang’s on a 6 year contract at Spurs and has caps for the Korean NT… Ipswich’s two games in had are a fairly big asterisk on that 12 point lead. You’ve lost the plot lmao

I’m not saying he is, I’m saying the fact he’s on loan shouldn’t come into the decision at all.

Markelo had barely played in the months prior to signing and since joining seems to have surpassed Yang in the pecking order and has even come on ahead of Esse. Those two are highly rated. It’s hilarious how desperate you are to write him off because of the transfer fee.

Still got the title to win. You play your best team, leaving Esse out just because he’s on loan would be stupidity.

"good enough" is meaningless, it's whether he's better than the other options there, namely Esse or possibly BTA Esse is not crap lol

No I agree, I think it will be challenging but the challenge will be avoiding complacency and dealing with fan expectation. If we get to 60 mins at 0-0 people will get nervous, the atmosphere might be uncomfortable. Or if they do break on us and nick a goal. The other side of the coin is that...

They'll play on the counter because they have no other option but I can't see it being end to end at all.
