I like a pint of that, not been in there since they did it out. The beer selection used to be pretty dreadful in there. It seems it's improved greatly as has the former Varsity. Also post Ken Brown, Browns sells a good range.
We're not looked at in the real football world in the grandiose way some of our fans look at us. For instance, a professional footballer would need to at least 30 to have been playing when we were a top flight club!
I go both home and away yes. Not every game but enough to make a fair judgment on the state of the team. I am not at all influenced by internet hysteria or somebody telling me we're doomed.
Yes, because Burnley got up and didn't overspend, and got relegated again (twice). If CCFC were in that position, you'd be screaming at their board for lack of investment or asking where all the money has gone.
....and increase their spending on wages massively including offering multi year contracts which will eat into the parachute payment pretty quickly. As well as that, the double whammy of an average 25% drop in attendances coupled with a likely decrease in ticket prices. Not to mention reductions...
Transfer deadline day and the ridiculous americanised charade that surrounds it. Am I right in thinking that american football or one of the other shite sports they play across the pond has something similar?
