I've not seen one poster who defends him, including myself, say he's a good finisher. I've have seen his detractors use all sorts of mental gymnastics to try and prove their point. 5 or 6 weeks ago where it was pointed out that he'd set up several chances for other players but they'd missed...

Id imagine some are and some aren't. I know people who have shrugged it off straight away and others who have struggled. No reason to think our players are any different.

It's the same old story though Pete. Boss game, don't convert chances, they score with their first chance which stems from a defensive mistake. I do wonder if for certain games, against the top sides, we need to try something a bit different? Don't ask me what.

I don't agree, I think the first 70 was because we were so poor in their box. Viks lame attempt, O'Hares chip over the bar, Allen's shot I'm really pissed off tonight. I think maybe because I don't see it improving next season.

He wasn't the only player who didn't strike a ball cleanly tonight, our striker didn't either! Dabo and maybe Bidwell and Hamer the only ones to come away with any credit.
