I worked there years ago. Wasps can have it for their kicking barn, the high racks will work as rugby posts

Question for OSB58: Wasn't converting debt into shares how SISU took over following the last administration? Why does the expert think that's a good idea and any better than just accruing interest on an existing debt? Surely it just has the same effect when the club is sold on?

    Copthorne Park

I like the Morris Common (is it genuinely common ground)? That's 18 acres, would be perfect if you ask me. Traffic filtering on to the A444. Leave trees along Valley Road in situ to screen local residents. Park and Ride schemes in operation. Lack of pubs on the other hand, in fact scrub it!

What about the Warehouse site then? It's a couple of roundabouts further on and is next to the bypass

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

Corbyn is hardly showing himself to be the communist the cretins in the media dress him up to be. He's proposed a few fairly light policies like publicly run railways. He isn't proposing a fully state owned and run economy.

    Oh Jeremy Corbyn

Which is his right anyway? The GFA ultimately still gave primacy to the unionists

    Match Thread Wycombe Match Thread

The owners are investing, the money spent on the academy is keeping the club going. Its transfer income in recent years has all been academy products pretty much. The level of investment in the academy for what it produces demonstrates a very good ROI and much better than signing players in the...

    Club Accounts 2016/2017

Fair enough, though the chairman's statement part even makes you as a reader and interested party feel part of a club. Amazing how much income the club gained from the Pool and Lottery, wonder why that stopped? Supposed the National Lottery hasn't helped with that kind of thing

    Club Accounts 2016/2017

Maybe you're right. I don't think the losses were to the same extent mind. Interestingly, having looked at the club's accounts from 1982 (turnover of £1,340,103) its turnover has actually gone up in real terms by 40%+ despite not owning a ground, a Sky Blue connection or being a top flight club...

The King Henry VIII pitches? I think they've been earmarked for something else possibly JLR related?

Indeed. The logical implication of skybluesam's post is that you would never do business with football clubs as they're basically run at a loss and might fall over at any minute.

    North v South Football Match

It'd be more interesting if it was northern English and southern English footballers, a load of foreign players who happen to be paid by a team with a historic base in the north or south doesn't really mean much, does it?

    Doyle - yellow cards

Funnily enough, I think that's also the cut off for dongonzalos to pay his bet. That'd be 80% of the games this season

To Willis or not to Willis?

No, his sending off was down to his own mistake. I'd stick with the back 4 from last night, particularly as they dealt well with Akinfenwa and will be up against similar again

    Wycombe Highlights / The Penalty

The game might have been dross but we achieved our objectives, stop a free scoring team from scoring (and really limited any real chances) and try and nick a goal. We need to score more but we've only conceded 28 goals in 35 games, absolutely commendable particularly considering injuries and...
