Maddison out for a few months

I honestly think TM would not have played Madders for more than half of the seasons games. Yes the pitches at this time of year suit him but we can and will adjust. The problem is the small squad and if we get a couple more long term injuries Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Maddison out for a few months

Yes he will be missed...his flair and creativity are exceptional but I believe we will cope. TM will have lameries, Murphy, and fleck working on it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Last week seems a distant memory

Whilst Madders will be missed no team is a one man band. If we beat Southend and then draw a couple games we will all calm down and look forward to a fairly successful season Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Perhaps those arsenal scouts might suggest an u21 gooner Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Walsall (Away) Match Thread

Very sad to hear that there were boos. The team may have been outplayed by a better side on the day but I don't think the determination or commitment of the players could be faulted. I wasn't there but the feeling I get from reports is that Walsall deserved the win but I didnt hear from TM or...

Why is southend match on monday

My lad is back at school on the Tuesday. We come over from Leicester...not too far but if we have delays, as with Crewe, it makes it more difficult for him to attend matches in term time (not from his point of view of course but from mine and his mums) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Why is southend match on monday

My point exactly I agree with all. Makes you wonder why when it so obvious to you and I that in terms of business wasps will want to maximise revenue even if that at the expense of ccfc....why haven't the plans for a new ground been pushed forward? Perhaps the club doesn't mind the disruption...

    3 wins out of 4...

Yes he has but Madders is v young and still developing. I don't think TM planned to use him for all/most games. We were going to play often without him. Unfortunately the injury has come when he was doing particularly well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Why is southend match on monday

Well I can't think of any other than teams not fulfilling cos of illness. however of course there are numerous examples of fixtures being changed late cos of TV demands. Probably find if we grease the palms of the football league we just regularly get Monday night football. The football league...

Why is southend match on monday

It could be disastrous next season....the football league won't allow this too often. Not sure what the penalties for not fulfilling a fixture cos there another event on might be Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    new offside rules

I'm baffled as to why they don't make the law as simple as possible. Anyone in an offside position is offside. No then trying to work out if a player is:is not in line of sight etc. for goodness sake how can we expect linesmen and refs getting this right any/part of the time. Sent from my...

    3 wins out of 4...

A better than expected start to season, a disappointing result yesterday and a couple injuries. If we get back to winning ways v Southend then August will have been a good month for the sky blues. Of course we all enjoyed getting carried away after 3 wins and unbelievable football but hopefully...

    Midlands today

Personally not keen on the wasps advertising but then it t is their ground and they can do what they like. If we owned the Ricoh and wasps (or whoever paid rent) we would quite rightly tell them to go and do one if their fanstried to tell ccfc what to put in the stadium. Unfortunately it a fact...

    Beard or no Beard?

Had a beard from age 18 to 52. Then shaved as wife n kids said they had never seen me without. So shaved it off. Mrs says she prefers beard kids say clean shaven. Now one of girls is getting married so at 56 am growing it back just to wind her up. I will probably shave it off again before I give...

    Walsall (Away) Match Thread

I'm sure TM is looking to strengthen a number of positions in the squad/team. We will need them all working hard as a unit over the next 9months Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
