    Are we Staying Up?

We'll be fine... we have half decent players.. if only we had someone that could make them play as a team.

    What's to sell

A new owner would still take a fee... but I do agree with your point. A more successful football team would increase revenue and probably increase the fee - but if we were a successful football team I imagine we would not worry about that so much.

    Who wants a public enquiry?

Hypothetical question..... If on one hand we have a Trust that can only rally around 10% of opinion from it's members for example, and other groups (although smaller) have a far greater majority of their members engaging with them... Does it make one groups opinions more important than the other?

    Who wants a public enquiry?

Not necessarily agreed. There may well have been one... I did wonder previously if one had occurred and that's why the admin/liquidation had been dragged out. So either there was one and nothing came of it... or ACL rejected the CVA on the premise of needing one.. and did fuck all about it.

    Who wants a public enquiry?

Well if there hasn't been.. it demonstrates that ACL merely rejected the CVA through sheer spite.

    SBT Statement

You miss the point....SISU have done a shit job, does that mean every person connected has free rein to do whatever they like, as we can always compare it to SISU's failings. What is so difficult in the idea of modelling how you want the club to behave... instead of stooping to their level.

    Who wants a public enquiry?

Hasn't this already been done? Given that ACL rejected the CVA on these grounds it would have only been right for them to do this immediately afterwards. If they didn't then the rejection could have been only in spite

    SBT Statement

So was it neccesary to release to the general public? A private letter perhaps.... So I get it... criticise a group for their actions... by doing exactly the same.

    SBT Statement

Care enough to release a tit-for-tat statement though.....

    Who wants a public enquiry?

So why can't the Trust lead on this? It makes perfect sense.

    What's to sell

And if we had new owners? Would they do it all for free? You seem to think that SISU are the only owners/hedge fund that do this kind of thing... when in reality it happened before with our previous owners, and will happen again in the future.

    Who wants a public enquiry?

Not really seeing as they are completely different aspects - this is not about state aid.

    Who wants a public enquiry?

Sadly the one thing an inquiry will not cover is the moral aspect of the council actions which is where the real crime is.

    Who wants a public enquiry?

I think the move was sealed the day the CVA was rejected. Up to that point there was a way back. The FL remember had a duty to oversee the implementation of the FFP (SCMP) regulations, and SISU probably argued that the existing deal would never allow the club to stand on it's own two feet. A...

    Who wants a public enquiry?

I completely agree with your first point... I think it is a real shame as the Trust has lost it's vision for why it existed in the first place. The most worrying thing is that as much as people don't believe in the plan and new stadium - which is understandable, it is really our only way out of...

    Who wants a public enquiry?

What is the point of a supporters trust if it does not engage with the club at a basic level? Do you think sending a strongly worded letter telling them to sell up will help? I'd want a Trust to be talking to the club about their 5 point plan... wanting timescales, more information...

    Who wants a public enquiry?

    1) Yes 2) It is impossible to tell. Given that they have approx 3K members (is that right?) then you could argue they may not. However it does not mean that the majority that are not part of Trust don't share similar views. I personally feel that the Trust have an obligation to...

    Can you provide the answers?

Two options: Throw endless amounts of money at the club in the hope that they get promoted. However there is no guarantee of that, and as such we could easily be in the position of owing someone a shit load of money.... given what we have seen with the Sky TV deal this week.. the dream of...

    Who wants a public enquiry?

If there's nothing to hide then why not.

    Can you provide the answers?

My wife in her infinite wisdom often says when we lose... 'why don't they kick it at the bloody goal' - and maybe she has a point. We don't have anywhere near enough attempts at goal, too busy passing it sideways and backwards with no great urgency. Simple maths tells you that if you have a...
