    Highlights from today!

Agree. No doubt that Vassell's was much worse.

    David Bell

Well he did have the best shot of the game for sure. The reason I am so disappointed in him is because I keep hearing things from managers and coaching staff saying stuff like "you just watch him go." Think Ranson said that very same thing before the beginning of last season. The coaching...

    Nothing to be ashamed of

That didn't pass me by. Leshtur though no great shakes were indeed extremely organised. Still don't think we have enough in our locked though to score many goals. Juke is not an out and out goalscorer, neither is Platt. Sheff is the only player who has that poacher instinct, but he's seem...

    Fair enough.

    Highlights from today!

when I first saw it I thought yellow. From that angle for me, that still looks like a yellow. Wasn't the same straight on lunge as Vasell's and he did try to come from the side slightly. It's all about opinions at the end of the day though! :p

    not too downhearted

Agree. We need a goalscorer. Le Fondre seems like the sort of player we need. I have pretty much given up hope on him though. Think we will be outbid.

    Highlights from today!

Would say looking at that that Vassell was definitely a red. Baker howver looking at that from that angle seems to only warrant a yellow.

    David Bell

You thought Bell looked good? What game were you watching? He got caught in possession on at least 3 occasions. Pretty sure it was 4. When he is on form i really like the guy. Today he was nowhere near like on form. Besides that shot he pretty much well did nothing. I have also to ask who is...

    BBC 5 Live

RADIO 5 LIVE ANALYST MICHAEL GRAY Coventry v Leicester. There was only really one side in it when they came out for the second half. Leicester were the ones who controlled the game. They got themselves in front and then they started passing the ball around to make Coventry feel really...

    Crowd

Think people are forgetting, kick off this year was the SIXTH AUGUST. A much earlier start than usual. People on holiday has to be a factor too. That along with the apathy, the recession and CCFC's long record of total abject failure all contribute. Was nearly 15,000 City fans here today...

24th August - Hoffmans Backers meet the SISU Puppets

Isn't the 24th too late? Doesn't the transfer window close ob the 19th? Sure that's what Clive Eakin said today.

    Nothing to be ashamed of

    Yep. Platt still injured.
  16. Otis

    Nothing to be ashamed of

Agreed. But also think if we don't bring anyone else in we're screwed. I'm sure Eakin on CWR said we have a squad of 19. Leshtur have 32.

    My Thoughts From Today

That was ridiculous. How on earth did Bamba not get a red card for what you quite rightly say was in essence a tirade. Most refs would have booked him and if he then had continued he would have been shown a second yellow. Disgraceful. From that point on the ref lost any respect.

    Nothing to be ashamed of

Nothing to be ashamed of We very narrowly lost to a £15-20m team fielding two 17 year olds and from what I saw having most of the possession - we certainly had them pinned back in their own half for the majority of the first half. We just lacked a bit of sharpness up top. If we still had King we...

Agree with that. As I say, you would hardly have known McSheff was playing today. He did nowt!
