Green-light given to 1,000 new Coventry homes on empty council land

Councils all over the country are selling off land for the reasons decsribed a couple of posts back. The land is of much greater value being sold for residential and this will be included in the outline planning permission. The buyers are there through developers and the construction industry is...

Question for those living outside of Coventry Re. the future of your support

I sense that this thread will become a bit of an emotional journey for some, me included, so here goes: I will obviously always be a Cov fan; not just of the club but my home town. I have two kids, a girl of 13 and a lad of 7 (also a football mad nephew of 17). All were born in Northampton but...

    Your Move SISU

I am not sure that hedge fund types are in the business of making offers. They will bide their time until the appropriate moment comes along, that being when a company becomes distressed. As many have already said, this will take a long time. All of efforts by all parties are to be applauded...

Or evem better, Shake Hands from Boys in the Blackstuff! Anyway, fair play to someone to actually go and do this from a "neutral" and open viewpoint. I suspect this probably applies to a significant number of fans, and adds more to any argument regarding bringing our club home. This is the kind...

    Walsall Sold Out

Are we all getting old - I don't fancy standing the whole game either. Do they have an old farts section for us?

Anyone just see the Kasami goal?

The goal sounded good on the radio. Even Claridge spoke with a fair degree of hyberbole

They were indeed. There a few on the Irish fans forum as well. Didn't expect a Cov fan to be there I suspect lots of kind words though by other fans - only the mackems sticking the knife in. All of this "couldn't happen to nicer bunch" bullshit; and about a game in 1977. Maybe I shouldn't wish...

I don't Valiant. I live in the town and know loads fo Cobblers fans. All decent types. It's their Chairman who the arse - many fans feel uncomfortable with his stance as they are all fans first and foremost and feel for us.

I don't think I am the type that wishes ill on anyone, and normally I don't care about anyone but Cov. However, I will make the exception this season due to some of the nonsense, gloating and vitriol coming from some of their fans. Hope they go down and stay down. It will be our fault though

Cardoza - We Want City For As Long As Possible

It would be interesting to know the reaction of the fans at the forum when he made this statement. Applause? DIscord? Ambivalence?

Parliamentary debate on football governance and CCFC

Nick, he is paid to attend Parliament to look after his constituents interests. He can do this best by doing precisely what he is doing - by getting the issue with how football is governed on the public record.

Time to move the protest inside...

The more that go away the better. The contrast between last Sunday and Wolves/Port Vale etc is stark. This point was made on Sky dduring the commentary
