That’s harsh on Newport. They’re a very good outfit at home, and it’s reflected in three stats; no team in the top 7 has beaten Newport at home (still have Accrington to play at home), they’ve lost 3 games at home all season and they’ve got the most set-piece goals in the league. Considering...

    Crowd for Monday

Yes! I’ve just looked at the form table, we’re 2nd at home over the last 10. Our record is 6-1-1, dropping points to Accrington and Luton. This has to be another 3pts, nothing else is acceptable. Hopefully another 3 or 4-0 result!

I like the idea of Biamou as an impact sub more than as starter right now. We should use him in that capacity for the rest of the season. I definitely think JCH’s arrival will push Biamou’s performances. Competition is only a good thing.

I made two accumulators, one with Cov to win, and basically results to go our way. And, another which was 'realistic', Shrewsbury lost to Rochdale and Preston (in betting, my 'lucky' team) lost to Sheffield Wednesday - had it gone through I'd have won £800. I always get so close.

In hindsight, starting with Reid may have made more sense because Newport play 5-3-2 and our original midfield 4 are all centre midfielders - so quite narrow. Whereas, typically, having an overlapping full back (Haynes) and a direct pacy winger (Reid) would cause a bit more problems, and I...

Another unpopular figure, but a brilliant manager for the Championship. Steve Evans is a pound shop Neil Warnock, mega twat, his 'squeaky Robins rant' is case and point. But, he knows how to get teams promoted - look at Mansfield after he's gone! We probably wouldn't have went down last season...

You do know they lost today? They've been far too inconsistent of late. A win v Yeovil and I think we'll move into 4th. I'm happy with a draw, especially considering that we went 1-0 down and Newport's home record. But, we can't perform poorly in the first half like that against Notts County.

To be honest, even a draw wouldn't be a bad result, even if we're aiming for autos. However, we cannot lose this game!

Our throw ins have been so poor all season. I didn't realise a professional team could be so bad at them.

Very much a young Mucca that should be doing my dissertation. A win on both my accumulators takes me out of my overdraft hahaha! Over the next two hours, I will be a very distracted person! At least my first accumulator is off to a good start with Plymouth taking an lead - Lameiras helping a...

Would be a massive W for me, as I’ve got all 3 results on my accumulator! As well as Cov and Crewe wins and Crawley v Cambridge draw — £2 on and the winnings are £1,100-odd. Wish me luck!

What was you're worst ever awayday?

I remember that Barnsley game! I said to my mates ‘we usually beat Barnsley, this should be a good game’. It was not a good game. Worst performance was when we lost 4-0 to Walsall under Pressley. What a joke.

    Safety Officer Removed?

I’m curious of your thoughts, what do you think the long term future of the club regarding a stadium? Is the way to go to build a stadium?indefinitely rent the RICOH? Groundshare with Cov RFC? Etc.

Newport’s season, in a sense is ‘over’, safe from the drop, but realistically out of the playoff hunt. Here’s some mixed news for us going into the game: — Newport have won once in their last 10 games — however, they haven’t lost to anyone in the top 7 at home, including Spurs. — they’ve only...

    Safety Officer Removed?

I’m not going to get dragged into a debate regarding the politics of the RICOH I will say this. The sale of both shares in the RICOH to Wasps represents an existential threat to CCFC. As far as I’m aware (so I could be wrong) it wasn’t necessarily the case that either the Council or ACL were...

    Safety Officer Removed?

Wasps owning the RICOH outright was only ever going to be a negative thing. Thank you Council and ACL, we may have twatty owners, but, have a bit more foresight!
