Both Gibson and Wallace have fantastic records in a City shirt. But in terms of goals per game (that's how this debate began), Wallace is ahead of all of our strikers in the modern era. As I think Clint pointed out, Wallace did play in much better teams so it's not a totally fair comparison...

I think the move to Forest was completely wrong for him CVD - incredible pressure given the fee at the time. Terry Gibson was brilliant for us and I agree he was in weaker teams - so it's a fair argument you are making. But Wallace has the better goals per game record - albeit close.

Icons. Wallace on goals per game - would make any modern era City team. Not to mention the iconic kit and hair. Fergie is very under-rated in that partnership as well - goals per game just slightly less than Dion's.
