Possibly, but I get the impression that N&B Council are pretty annoyed that their normal confidential approach has been disrupted by the enquiring party. They seem keen to pour water on the value of the approach, whether this be recent or not.

ACL have been making offers, they appear to be very open to a fair deal, probably less open to deals where their future profits are effectively gifted away. I believe ACL are happy to work with the club, to me the problems always come from the clubs current owners.

Seems to be a lot of guessing in this reply. Substantial portion? Any figures to back this up? How much are the annual debt repayments that they won't come close to meeting? How much money are they losing?
