    Those hoping for WASPs demise

They weren't, for the record I'm not bothered about helping SISU, I said help the club. We were charged extortionate rent year on year with next to zero access to revenues. You wouldn't know because you are not a supporter.

    SISU's Big Chance

What makes you think anyone would be buying for anything like what SISU would want? When SISU purchased we weren't a very attractive prospect then, hence why we ended up with a bunch of people like SISU chancing there arm. Say we made it back to the championship, we'd still be in an even worse...

    Those hoping for WASPs demise

Average HOME attendance here for 13/14 I'm still struggling to see how you fitted 62k into Adams Park :thinking about:

    Those hoping for WASPs demise

Maybe the council should have been helping there local club reach them heights again then (which would add more value to the Ricoh and city than Wasps ever can) rather than giving up on them and leaving them to rot?

    Those hoping for WASPs demise

There's no doubt that even a semi successful football club (bottom half premier league, play off championship, odd cup run) adds more value to the Ricoh than an extremely successful rugby club ever could. Shame we will never see that now. I'd like to think you're right about Wasps attendances...

    Those hoping for WASPs demise

There was a big drop from relegation from the championship. Attendances were still dropping yearly before that despite us performing at a similar level year on year.

    Those hoping for WASPs demise

I wonder how many people would turn out if anyone ever dared to try and move Wasps from the new home of Rugby.

Have We Been Closed Down Then?

No they are not adverts, I mean the text which is part of the article at the end of most Wasps related stories. Deputy chairman Nick Eastwood said: “The Exeter Chiefs game is absolutely massive for the club and we hope the Ricoh is buzzing on April 26. “We need as many of our supporters as...

Have We Been Closed Down Then?

Genuine question here, why does every Wasps article have links to tickets at the end? Are Wasps paying the telegraph for that or is it just the telegraph doing their bit to support franchise sport?

I agree with that as well, don't get me started on our fans. One of the worse set of supporters in the UK

Jackson wants to score some goals

He's crap, he's anonymous. He never gets chances because he hardly touches the ball in a match, you can probably count the number of touches he's had on one hand in every game this season. Tudgay and Nouble are a bit crap but at least they get involved every now and then.

    Those hoping for WASPs demise

Makes me sick that our owners have allowed this to happen, makes me even more sick that other people back it and support it.

    Those hoping for WASPs demise

Just heard Eastwood on the radio, he knows he has the Coventry public and football club wrapped around his finger. Probably pissed himself laughing when he hung up at how easily it is too fob off those asking questions. He had it spot on when he said people are passionate about the Ricoh (a lot...

    ***Relegation Thread***

Wasn't long ago people were bemoaning our away form, before Mowbray had arrived we had won 3 away games all season.

If we can manage win at home we will stay up. If we fail to win all 3 home matches we will likely go down. Personally I think we will do it, Oldham have been pretty crap since Lee Johnson left and have nothing to play for and Crewe are as poor an away side (probably worse) than we are a home team.

Have We Been Closed Down Then?

The irony. Pressley brings future transfer embargo or points deduction. And we were doing so well..this week TM will not hang around if the club end up with points deducted or embargo's flying around The one worrying thing is that he may end up forcing another admin if there is not enough...
