    Hands off donny!

Understand what you are saying but can't see him wanting to take a sideways step at the moment. He has a project here and in the long run would probably be better staying if he backs himself to take us up as this may lead to offers from bigger clubs than both of ours. Didn't realise you guys...

    no need to sell

Why would we need to sell to fund a rent payment? The non payment isn't because they can't afford it, it's because they are in dispute over the value of the rent.

    Yeovil out of the JSP

We couldn't have played them until the final at Wembley anyway.

Plus whatever they pocket from the booze and food on match days.

If its to do with previous comments about ACL eating from CCFC trough, I thought it was pretty well documented what we pay them and how little CCFC get in return.

For fucks sake there are no SISU apologists. Just people who do not think everything they do is evil. They are not out to get us for fucks sake.

Why do you assume they wouldn't? And it is not rent reduction so much as new income streams that would allow further investment. For the club to become profitable there needs to be success. Success requires investment. Only if they have access to revenue streams will they be able to make...

Surely that is transfusion. And surely it would be illegal. Wasn't that what Lance Armstrong was doing?

The alternative of course being continue to pay the same rent and not really being a viable business which will mean we languish in the lower leagues or, worse, cease to exist.

Why would a genuine supporter be against the club paying less rent? I don't get how that is possible? Less rent/more favourable rent agreement means more money for the club to invest in other areas such as players and therefore hopefully greater success.

    Will we sign anymore ?

We can and have paid fees this season. Whether we will or not is a different matter. Robins does seem to like using the loan market so personally I expect a couple of loans (if we are allowed any more).

Isn't it the same post rolled out in every single thread? Seems like it! I've stopped paying attention now. There is obviously some sort of personal grudge he has against Robins.

You are absolutely right. They need the land and share in the stadium to increase revenue to invest in the club. Success for the club will then increase said revenue streams further eventually allowing the club to become profitable and allow money to be paid out to shareholders. Simples.

The argument that it is depriving a charity of money is ludicrous. The contract for rent is between CCFC and Arena Coventry Ltd. The Ltd. signifies it is a limited company not a charity. The fact a charity holds a share in ACL is completely irrelevant. Charities often hold shares in many...
