I don't see how booing can ever inspire anyone. It's not even constructive criticism it's just abuse. You just watch players who get a hard time and you can see their shoulders drop and their confidence shot and fans will keep up the same level of vitriol game after game after game...

I never ever boo, but have no problem with people booing as long as it is at half-time or full time and not during the game where any abuse could affect the players performances.
