Whilst I agree with your sentiment, but the point of the post is to highlight that there are players in the squad that aren’t really good enough to be in a playoff team. 3 points off playoffs with the best GD of the teams around us so the comment that we’re not serious contenders was ridiculous.

For sure, Kelly is a limited player and will probably be in L1 next season. After two wobbly performances, we just needed a steady head in the team and rotate some tired players out.

If you had no prior knowledge of the teams tonight and the last couple of games, you wouldn’t have thought COH had more goals and assists than Palmer. If Palmer can turn these performances into more goals and assists, we’ll have some player on our hands.

Blaming the strikers when you concede poor goals and create no good chances is just a bit silly. Simms had one chance that game, should’ve tested the keeper but it wasn’t a horrendous miss.

Da silva has a longer, bigger contract that someone needs to pick up. So we’re unlikely to be able to offload even if we wanted to at this stage. I prefer Bidwell, my preference is an upgrade on both of them.

I’m not against Bidwell leaving. He’s a good player but we need to be ambitious in the market. A left footed MVE is the dream. JDS will do as a backup.
