The tweet is largely irrelevant, the club will use anything possible to try and boost sales so advertising season tickets after a new signing is a given. The important thing is Mowbray didn't sign him to sell season tickets, he signed him because he thinks he can be a good player.

If you remember when we signed him he was just coming back off a massive injury lay off (its the only reason we managed to get him here, to get him fit). So yes I think its was mostly due to injury.
