    A Bolton Wanderers question

That must have been a long time ago. I remember steam trains (just) and I am 62!

    Where is Rick Gekoski?

This bloke is kind enough to come on here and answer a question about himself, why the need to respond with rudeness and aggression?

    Where is Rick Gekoski?

He comes across as a mafia type member.

    Where is Rick Gekoski?

The author was an American, Joe McLaughlin (since passed away I think). He was in his fifties before he became interested in football after watching a world Cup. As the season progesses he starts to argue with the manager on team selection which is a bit like Andy Turner telling Mark Robins...

    Where is Rick Gekoski?

I am just coming to the end of the book 'Miracle in Castle de Sangro', a book about an Italian village team that made it all the way to Seria B. Who should be quoted on the cover of the book but Rick Gekoski, giving it a glowing reference. The book was published in the late 90s so not sure what...

Plenty of time therefore for Sisu to build their stadium.

    Bright Enobakhare

Unless it is a loan until January, where upon, due to performances, his value increases, I don’t see what Wolves get from loaning him out. His value is in reality is likely to be less in January than it is now, as there will only be months left on his contract. Surely their best plan is either...

    Starting Lineup for Southend

I think he may have started there.By the time I was watching he was the number 3 soon to be replaced by Chris Cattlin..

    Poll: Wasps in Coventry

The article from The Guardian, a few posts above, written by a Wasps fan, makes the exact opposite point. He talks about Wasps being rooted in London, about them being a real community club who punched above their weight. He accepted the move to Wycombe but felt that the move to Coventry was...

    Poll: Wasps in Coventry

Isn’t the whole idea of franchise sports teams wrong though?

    Poll: Wasps in Coventry

You wonder how many more there are like this chap, surely more as time has gone on. He obviously underestimated the amount of local interest Wasps arrival would bring. Hopefully that is now permenantly on the wane.Wasps need to go back down their own end.

    Poll: Wasps in Coventry

I agree with the comments about Sisu. I am certainly no fan of them. Wasps simply should not be here. They belong to the community that helped to form them. Their roots are in the south east and 5hat is where they should play. Franchise clubs should not exist in either football code.

    Poll: Wasps in Coventry

That is the point though. If you love your football club, however illogical that may be, you will be dead against any entity that is going to damage it. Wasps being here, taking over the stadium that was built for us and now kicking us out of that stadium are a huge threat. Anyone who is a...

    Ask Neil

Surely if point two is through some democratic process where representatives can be elected and removed if not representing the fan base then this is a good thing? If we had the German model where fans owned 51% of their club would this not stop another Sisu type owner taking over using the club...

    Bright Enobakhare

Birmingham beat Swindon 6-1 at their training ground today (Friday). My son watched the game and said that Daniel Crowley was excellent for Birmingham and ran the game playing as a number 10. Would Blues want or need Bright if this other new guy plays in his position and looks like being a stand...

    Hiwula

Maybe as part of a front three. He is not a target man or hold up player in the way that Biamou is.
