    Blackburn allocation

Must have been the first goal at the Kop end then but same scenario, thousands of City fans celebrating.

If you look at the highlights of that game, Hutch scores our second goal at the Kop end and thousands of City fans celebrate

    Derby 3rd April

There were lots of empty seats in the MainStand end block next to the away section. These weren’t just empty seats dotted about, these were several rows which were only partially populated.

    Derby 3rd April

I thought yesterday was a sell out but there were some empty seats.

    Fan zone

I’ve been in a few times with my grand daughter. She loves it. Has a go on all of the activities and brings her EFL stickers to swap. She loves it. We brought my grandson to his first game yesterday and he loved the family zone too. The fact everything is free, face painting, balloon animals etc...

    Championship thread 25/26!

I think gates are up all over the place. I’m amazed at some of the attendances clubs are getting. Even National League gates seem to have rocketed. While midweek attendances are lower, they are not hugely different to weekend gates. I’d be surprised if we are not pushing 28k to 29k next...

    Championship thread 25/26!

Think they’ve changed the format of that for this season. Last year I think there was a 3 week gap from the end of the regular season till the higher placed teams got involved in the play offs. This obviously favoured the lower placed teams who had kept playing. No surprise that Oldham, a low...

    WHEN we get promoted

He was injured in the last few games of the promotion season so would only have been watching. That clip always makes me laugh as Derrick Robins obviously doesn’t know the words to the Sky Blue Song and finishes with ‘we’ll fight till the day is done’

You can only have a ticket if you remember…

When Brammal Lane was a three sided stadium as Yorkshire played cricket there. I was telling my son about that last night. I was at that game when Fergie scored.

Yet the same squad of players showed play off form when Robins took over.

I thought the same. Much better in the Middlesbrough game

    Loan watch

My son works for Rochdale. He keeps telling me how well he is doing. He says we should have kept him and played him at left back.

Me too. Turned it off at that point. Also what answer is expected to ‘How key are the Sky Blue Army?’

Match Thread Coventry City - Oxford United Match Thread - Saturday 7th Feb

I think the Oxford game would be the ideal start for Onyeka. He is likely to have more scope for finding his feet in this game than against Middlesbrough. You would want him to be up to speed against the better team.

Match Thread Coventry City - Oxford United Match Thread - Saturday 7th Feb

I disagree. I think we have been far more open and likely to concede than we were at the start of the season. Firstly, we had that long run where we didn’t concede a goal. Secondly, we were just not conceding goals from open play. I think in the first few games only Norwich did this, all other...

Podcast Episode 297 – We’re Top But Are A Little Bit Scared

I like That Cov Pod too for game by game reviews and previews but the best City podcast I think is the Sky Blue History podcast with Jim Brown and Claudio.

The Butts was an upgrade. The original office was at the old Courtaulds site on Lockhurst Lane. All part of the Tim Fisher master plan.

    Leicester At It Yet Again!

I think Ayew played well in both games this season. However I don’t agree that Leicester could or should have been 3 up. They certainly were on top and they carved us open a few times but apart from the goal I don’t think they had real clear cut chances. Decordova Reid hit one against his own...
