Hmm, tough call, but I would say the mid to late 70's when we had the 'old five' and regularly scored 5 goals in a game at home. The days of Steve Hunt, Yorath, Fergie and Wallace, Hutchison etc. Great days. You went to every home expecting us to win and we played some very good football too.

Born, here, watched the team game after game, season after season every week since the late 1960's. Yes, I would call myself a supporter.

Think the nearest we're going to get to this story headline is 'Fisher leaves in back garden .'

    Fisher leaves by mutual consent

I guessed it was wishful thinking when I saw it, but some will get their hopes up for sure. Maybe wise to delete the thread as this is probably not the best time for a thread like this. ;)

    Disturbing

The sensible amongst us however, made no pre-judgement and just waited for the outcome of the trial. Always find it wise to not try and second guess and just wait for things to play out. Pull up a chair and wait for the outcome is my motto. ;)

    Robben as bad as Suarez

They are displaying what historically England teams were renowned for, battle, fight, spirit, never say die attitude. These days we just seem to have an attitude.

Is this a fair deal to return to Ricoh?

Well that's all well and good, but why no mention of the building of the statue of Joy Seppala for outside the stadium?

    Fisher statement: Judge was wrong!

He was also into beastiality too by all accounts. I think it was just around the time he wrote 'Tie me kangaroo down, sport.'

    Fisher statement: Judge was wrong!

Yep. Judge was wrong! Funnily enough, Gary Glitter, Max Clifford, Harold Shipman, Rose West, Andy Coulson and Jonathan King said the judge was wrong in their cases too.

    Robben as bad as Suarez

I hate the taking the ball into the corner too. Not sure what you can do about it though. It could be covered in the laws of the game however. Ungentlemanly Conduct. Just not sure how they would police it. Am guessing players would just get more sneaky about doing it and would carry on the same...

    Disturbing

I can't see much celebrating. People do seem quite satisfied though that justice was seemingly done here and that there was no case to answer. All this court case has done has wasted everyone's time and money.

Ten key facts from the High Court judgment

I love number 7. 7) Sisu criticised a £14.4m loan to ACL, which they argued was a failing business. But the judge responded by pointing out Sisu had ploughed £50m into a “hopelessly loss-making football club” in the hope they could make profit by buying into the Arena. He also said Sisu and...

    Robben as bad as Suarez

This is why I like American Football. They are constantly reviewing and changing the rules if and when needed. With football we seem to bang on about the same things for years and years on end. How long has it taken for goal line technology to come in? First change should be immediate and that...
