Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I mean, you’d have to ask the people who care why it’s an issue for them. I’m not one of them, but I do find it odd that the Chancellor and his team either couldn’t or wouldn’t try to avert a PR issue for the sake of a few quid. Props for getting Diane Abbott AND David Lammy in there though...

1879 tickets! Surely no chance these will get past Phase 1?

    International break including WC playoffs

So from 2002 onwards, you’d rather have been an England fan than an Italy fan?

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Not a lot imo, but clearly it matters to some people, hence why we’re talking about it on here. You could, of course, eliminate the potential PR problem for the sake of a few quid, but if Rishi would rather keep the money himself then it’s his choice I guess.

Would be more than a little weird for them to do that, no? What would people expect him to say?

    International break including WC playoffs

Italy have won the World Cup and the Euros over the past 20 years….nevermind their crap WC record recently, the only team it would be better to support over the same time period would be Spain.

Why does Rishi Sunak have to answer to another country’s foreign policy?

    International break including WC playoffs

I mean over the past 20 years, not the next 20. I don’t doubt that England can expect a brighter immediate future than Italy.

    International break including WC playoffs

Is there anyone who would rather be an England fan than an Italy fan over the last 20 years?

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Because the cost of a tank of petrol is probably worth it to rule out the chance of getting some bad PR, especially when your net worth is £200 million. (Unless you’re really tight, or have a habit of not thinking things through of course)

Not only are you wrong again, you’re apparently losing grip on reality. God help us if our recruitment team start buying young players on the grounds of them being tall and underperforming for Solihull.

Where do you even start with this? “Bad players are actually good because they’re cheap” is critical thinking from another dimension.

Walker and Waghorn combined have started 15 games this season, I’d be amazed if Tavares is good enough to handle that kind of workload. He’d be playing loads if we only had three strikers.

There’s nothing “selective” about it - no-one favouring ‘goals per minute’ is trying to claim his playing time and goals record is anything different from what it actually is. On the other hand, using appearances per goal means a player’s scoring record over 900 minutes can be identical to one...

Ignoring anyone’s opinion on a particular player, which do you think is a more accurate reflection of how often a player scores goals - minutes per goal, or appearances per goal? I assume you’d want to use the more accurate statistic as part of your thinking when deciding whether to buy or sell...

If there’s a chance to get Waghorn off the wage bill instead of Walker then it would be malpractice not to pursue it.
