Yes, that is right - still doesn't detract from the sentiment meant by the chap with the banner. Nor the interpretation of the poster, nor mine. It is amusing. It doesn't mean I am suggesting someone actually goes to try to blow parliament up.

Guy Fawkes is actually celebrated 5th November every year. Not the actual terrorism of it. Where you draw the line is different to others.
The post was in no way linked to anything other than a failed plot being the answer to Brexit arguments in a parliament that cannot seem to sort itself out...
I know you are largely talking in figure of speech, & in the moment...but relate the sentiment rather than the words - educate is good, kicking arse is a bit extreme in itself?

Seriously??? You cannot separate the two? Was that post made with any link or knowledge of the NZ attack? One is dreadful reality, the other poking fun at a current political shambles!

It is now we need to unite - show sympathy, support, kindness & togetherness regardless of race, creed, colour, nationailty or religion.

No...you would argue 17.4m leavers WANTED a deal I suppose?
Either way, there WILL be a mutually acceptable deal. Why? Because there is too much to lose!
This sums it up nicely...Redirect Notice

13.03 Barnier..."I would like to simply recall to everybody : if the United Kingdom still wants to leave the European Union and leave it in an orderly fashion, then this treaty that we negotiated with Theresa May's government over the past year and a half remains the only treaty available."
So...
Seems like too many are happy for the UK to be bullied (at worst...pressured at best) into holding another referendum - just like other nations before us, so that we vote "correctly"!

Struth...given our interactions on another thread...I never thought I'd agree with you on very much - but hats-off to you.

Here we go again..."EU says no more Brexit talks with UK, risk of no-deal increased" - EU says no more Brexit talks with UK, risk of no-deal increased | Reuters
Does that mean JC is less keen on an election? Obviously his idea of a deal is a com0lete non-starter If they will not renegotiate...
As long as we stay in (& keep feeding) the EU, he really doesn't care the damage it does to the UK in any way whatsoever.
Future elections & referenda might yield only 10% turnout...but as l9ng as we tow the EU line all will be well/shit depend8ng on your stance

It isn't a new phenomenon is it? Mart & Co have been spouting off tp hold a 2nd referendum, & the Danes, French & Irish all had re-runs of referenda (with tweaks). So what is so different?

Am I? You seem to think you know me better than anyone. I have not been 'had' in any way shape or form.
Plus, there is only negative speculation at the moment.

He fails to accept that successive Govt/& manifestos (including Labour...twice) promised but failed to deliver a referendum. At least the Tories finally did so.
People voted partly for the chance to have an EU referendum, but were repeatedly denied it.

Famous last words.
Sunderland Burton Barnsley...I think so far we have 4 points from 12 there. But let us not fear the those coming down from the Championship.
