The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Those that choose to not have a UK passport will have to either get one or stand in the other queue then won't they? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

See? There you go again! This time last year you & ypur mates were moaning because there were none. Now we have some you trivialise them. It is a gradual process...it takes time. These deals are proof that they can & do & probably will continue to happen! The bloke you mention didn't qualify...

It means we have the power to put one up if, when & where we decide we want one on our territory. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Or non UK passport departures from NI join the international queue. There is an adequate filter...increases employment at NI airports too. You keep looking for problems...the government is now finally in solution mindset & mode. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

That is the exact same thing that, I think it was Bernard Ingham said on the radio when asked how Maggie would have approached the issue. He said exactly that - she would have provided a clear message that any hard border would only be erected by (& at the general cost of) the EU. All other...

Only for the rabbit in the headlights. It is a change of huge magnitude, one which happens every few generations or so. Like last time was probably when we joined the EEC. Requires a change in mindset. Change being the key word. Too many people are spooked by it. Sent from my SM-G935F using...

As I have said ad-nausea there will be winners & losers. The winners are the ones that seek out opportunities & take advantage of the circumstance. That has always been the case. Brexit will simply concentrate the process. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

So you are confusing me now. Do you want EU fruit pickers in the UK picking fruit? Do you want fruit pickers in the UK to be paid on a supply & demand rate rather than a minimum wage then subsidised by handouts from the benefits system? Do you want people in the UK the same prices as they...

Yes...so fruit pickers suffer the same way as most other functions. Technology is progress unless you are performing a thinking role or on the receiving end of it's introduction Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Higher prices here straight away means importing becomes more attractive to suppliers...so the fruit pickers in the UK currently might move to where the fruit picking pays them. It is something of a stereotype though to assume only cheap-labour from the EU fills such posts don't you think...

Yes the PM can with Parliamentary approval. Surely though, simple supply & demand should come into play. And yes I am all for no subsidies for low earners. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

The employers that want the fruit picking have to address the pay...not the Prime Minister. If they can't get pickers at minimum wage - they have to pay more to make the job more attractive. Or we have to go without said fruit or import it Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

    Wayne Rooney

I always think Steve Gerrard looks & sounds bored beyond belief. The interview at the weekend after there rout didn't seem to leave him very enthusiastic. At present Rooney keeps saying 'hopefully' when I hear him...which is progress from 'errrm' & 'you know like' from players of the past...but...

Maybe those on the receiving end of Bojo's law enforcement & reform policy, & our own homegrown unskilled workers will find it an attractive avenue to gain income legitimately when the pay reflects the demand? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Actually, it's no surprise that you make a garbled statement & cannot explain it either! You still aren't explaining how you can keep the economy "going and growing" by deliberately shrinking it. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Nah, I'm not getting it. The government stops immigration deliberately...to shrink the economy...which keeps it going and growing - that is what you said Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
