How cringeworthy are the 'Lampard give us a wave" chants at away matches!! He is under pressure mid game and has to wave to the away end or if he doesn't he gets a little boo. Let him do his job and celebrate together at the end of the game.

He has raw athleticism Eccles and Torp for their qualities are some way away in that respect. I am just pleased we can say to him run hard for 70 mins and then we can bring on less physically dynamic players with slightly different skill sets when the opposition are slightly more tired.

For all the stick Lati had early in the seaaon he should keep his place on merit. He sometimes looks like he is running in treacle but he has good awareness and can read the game well and that is a big asset.
