Railway underpass an accident waiting to happen...

Why don't they just keep the away fans in the stadium until the home fans have left. Especially if the visiting fans have a history of causing trouble.

    Remember it’s a step up

Yes it is a step up into Div 1, but we haven't got the same squad as last season, because if we had then you could understand the problems that Mark Robins is having this season with scoring and defending. It's Mark Robins job as the manager to sign the right players to play in Div 1, upto now...

    Remember it’s a step up

Exactly my thoughts , it's when things go wrong , ie formation etc, seeing where the weakness are in the opponents and changing it, that's when the manager earns his money.

    CWR

It happens too often, hoofing the ball ect, it makes you wonder what they do in training all week. But if you are going to play the long ball game then you need a centre forward who can hold the ball up. The fact we haven't got a centre forward who can hold the ball up is down to Make Robins.

    CWR

    Planned trouble for Sunderland game?

Apparently it was a coach pub crawl on the way upto Sunderland on the Friday night before the game. Back in the 70s the roads are not what they are today, ie motorways.

    Planned trouble for Sunderland game?

"Seems a bit tame " So what do you suggest they should have done ? And I'm not talking about building sandcastles.

    Planned trouble for Sunderland game?

Back in the day when Sunderland played at Roker park, in the 70s, first game of the season the City played them away at Roker park, Some of the Sky Blue army got there at the crack of dawn, in them days no 24 hours shopping, so nowhere to get a drink ect. As the milkman was delivering the...
