Think any City manager would be a beaten man. He must have been screaming to the board until he is blue in the face that he needs new players in desperately.
Not so much a dead man walking as a sitting duck.
Agree. McLaren will be gone before we play them. We will then face a very much rejuvenated Forest side.
I think the best we will get will be a draw from the game. Forest are a good side. Just have a clown in charge at the mo.
Very good post.
At the end of the day Thorn remains a very inexperienced manager. He will make mistakes. How many mistakes we are happy to accept from him is still open to debate. Think our problems stem from a whole gamut of differing factors.
1. Squad too small.
2. Inexperienced...
Agree.
Look at the games this season. How many times have individual errors or sloppiness at either end of the field cost us? Where is the ill luck? Letting in late goals has cost us, as has missing chances at the other end. That has nothing to do with luck. We simply have not been good enough...
Would say possibly Peterborough, possibly Doncaster. Three teams? Nope.
I have had a very bad feeling for a while now. This squad has relegation written all over it from what I can see. We cannot depend on kids all season long and the squad is paper thin. Yes, we have played some nice...
But as has been said, we didn't play that well. We were good for the first 6-7 mins and then after Blackpool were on top for about 60 mins. In total I would say we played well for 20 mins. I wouldn't say that could be deemed as "playing so well." It was all bits and pieces and mixtures of...
Can anyone hand on heart actually come out and say we are in a false position at the moment? We have been around the bottom 3 since the opening day of the season and are where we belong as things stand.
So absolutely nothing to do with him not being allowed to bring in players in the January transfer window when we had an injury crisis at the club? All Boothroyd's fault!
Of course AB was to blame for a lot in terms of style and tactics and no plan b, but are you...
But Steve, they are to blame for the squad not being good enough or strong enough or big enough. Therefore these goals and mistakes will keep happening because the same players who make the mistakes every week have to continue playing every week because they cannot be replaced.
Surely you can...
Hmmm, TEN games in, ONE win, bottom three, average of less than a goal a game scored, 7 points.
Yep, play-offs here we come. Time to wake up and smell the coffee!!! This team at the mo has relegation written all over it.
