    Fisher pays tribute to fans

Ah ... cost price ... but that is now way above actual value. Nobody is prepared to pay more than it's actually worth. (And just to be clear: The value is equal to the price a buyer and a seller can agree)

    Fisher pays tribute to fans

Yes - I have done this many times. But I have not been defended Higgs position in ACL at any time. In fact I have asked what the f... a charity is doing in a property investment case? Especially as when they constructed ACL money was in excess everywhere and finding a specialized property...

    Fisher pays tribute to fans

This is more or less what you suggested in a previous post and while I applaud your efford to be constructive, I really think it's too complicated and uncontrollable. I don't want to repeat what I said then, but let me add another point: If ccfc get to acquire the shares of ACL at a...

    Fisher pays tribute to fans

In this thread the 400k/800k came up as a response to a previous poll. I tried to point out that those who voted actually didn't really knew all facts and were believing the 400k p/y was a 66%+ reduction from the original payment. I have never in any thread said if this or that number is...

    Fisher pays tribute to fans

Yes, but that is a little beside the point. The point is that most believed we paid (or was contracted to pay) a total of £1.2m p/y for the use of Ricoh and that the offer was to pay a total of £400k p/y. Nobody even discussed the possibility that the figures were higher. And btw ... has anybody...

It's all in your head ...

3 months later ... We are winning. Setting records. Scoring goals for fun. Robins really has turned the players around. We can't lose. It's in their heads now. The opposition knows it too - they can't beat us. It's in their heads as well. Fans are exited. At first we were suspecious, now we...

That was the £400k offer ... which was actually more like £800k. I take it you voted the club should pay £400k/yr ... not £800k.

Be with you in a sec, dear. Joy was asking what dress to wear New Year's eve. I said it didn't matter as long as she put on the 1987 FA cup scarf I gave her for Christmas.

    Fisher pays tribute to fans

Banter aside - I think it's nice that Fischer recognise the fantastic support the fans have given. Some are asking why it isn't coming from sisu themself - well, Joy did send a Cristmas greeting on the official site. And frankly, I'd rather hear this stuff from the CEO than from the shareholder.

That may actually be true - he'll have to answer to them all the time. Luckily I don't.

No way! Me and Valiant have been going steady for months now ... I would have known.

    Turn the lights off

You are looking backwards. And you're right - the club would still have lost a lot of money even if the rent had been £0 from day one. But look forward - will the club be able to exist on its own paying say £400k plus matchday expenses and a five year installment plan for the £1m outstanding...

    Incentive led stadium ownership

I don't think they would take it - even though we are nice guys and even if we were good for the money. Why would they sell? At this point they are close to have the club running on its own. They have two experienced guys at the helm and their own involvement is minimal. If the club gets the...

    Turn the lights off

And now back to the crucial point: It doesn't seem that ACL can stay profitable if the club only pays what it can afford. If that is true, then one of the two will fade away. Who should it be?
  15. G

    Incentive led stadium ownership

The club is worth nothing at this point. No buyers and sisu aren't selling. I think that is pretty obvious to everybody.

    Incentive led stadium ownership

I think we have completed the circle of arguments. We are back at the point where ACL will have to make up their mind: Will they force the club into administration and hope the stadium can survive without the club and all the revenue that comes directly or indirectly from the clubs presense. If...

    Incentive led stadium ownership

By sisu forcing the ACL out and buy it for the mortage?

    Turn the lights off

Many want them out, that is anti-sisu to me. I am quite tired of all the post's that include the sentence 'I am not pro-sisu ...' as the posters seem to belive that is the political correct statement.

    Incentive led stadium ownership

And it's not working - put it all into one entity controlled by one owner.

    Incentive led stadium ownership

The stadium is worth what somebody is prepared to pay. What has been paid and invested in the past when money grew on trees doesn't matter.
