What's that got to do with it? :thinking about:;) A principal is a principal and you deal with the consequences of that.

Hope that is right, Rich, cos he's certainly painting a bad picture today.

Which is what most of us said. Remaining in the Championship was vital and we weren't asking for AT to be given much in terms of a transfer budget to achieve that aim. Just two more players may have made all the difference.

Yep. Left a job before on principal.

It's a bad thing because many, many managers would simply not work under such constraints.

Key here though is the comment 'But assuming Thorn is given a competitive budget this summer, he’s confident they can bounce back at the first time of asking.'

I hope he does. I would be having thinly veiled digs at the owners all season long. Don't mind him saying 'we'll just have to get on with it but it's going to be very tough,' but don't want him to be saying 'we'll just have to get on with it but we feel can be pushing for the top 6.' This...

Don't think he's a puppet as such, but the board did choose him for a reason. 1. He was the cheap option and 2. He won't make waves. We've had that one little wobble but alll seems to be forgotten and forgiven on that front and it's all apparently back to the norm. Who on here doesn't...

Errr ......... CT today .... 'The outlook painted today is a far cry from just an hour after City’s fate was confirmed in the 2-0 Ricoh Arena defeat by Doncaster, when an upbeat Fisher revealed that he planned to go to club owners Sisu to ask for the cash to fund an immediate return to...

Apparently AT, having just seen the headlines this morning, has come out and said he is very interested in the turnover.

Fisher 3 weeks ago. “We will ask for a budget, and it will be a bounce-back budget. "We want to have a robust bid to get out of League One; there’s no ‘let’s go down and consolidate for a couple of years and see where we get to’ – we are going to make a bid to get out.” Yep, doesn't...

Sad but true. AT needs to make a stand. Surely no manager should have to put up with such conditions. One thing that would really make Sisu look ridiculous would be if AT quit and no-one even applied for the position. if we had no manager at all then everyone would have to sit up and take notice.

True. I know I didn't buy any of it. Every time I hear us linked with another player I just say it's another players we aren't going to get. Will Thorn quit like he threatened? He did say he would only stay if he got the backing and a decent budget. This seems to say the opposite.

Doesn't it? Thought everyone was saying that since last Thursday the goalposts had moved somewhat.

Can anyone speak Scottish and translate all that for me. :thinking about:

AT does need his head testing. Surely he realises this list of players he has lined up is just a futile window shopping gesture.

Exactly as I suspected. Wouldn't be surprised if we sold Keogh and brought no players in. And 'no-one should expect an immediate return to the Championship?' He's having a laugh!! I am half expecting a drop to League Two. We need Sisu gone. It's that simple.
