Match Thread Plymouth (A)- Wednesday 14th Feb

Stoke Away! It's like an episode of Thomas the Tank Engine now. Still fancy us to win both games. Stoke are awful and can't see Plymouth trying to sit back hoping for a draw.

Match Thread Plymouth (A)- Wednesday 14th Feb

Stoke (20th) at home is the easier fixture to Plymouth (15th) away, yes. But we should still hope to take 3 points here, we should be able to hit them on the break. It's not a 'must-win', of course, but there are much tougher games in March/April than this one. Hold them off, hit them on the...

    Bradley collins

I think we should keep him. I think he’s a keeper.

if he was bought for £7.7m how much is he worth now?

MR he just finds a way!

This team will be better than the 22/23 team

Well our attack is more diverse - it had to be - and both started poorly. I’d like to think by end of season we’ve both scored significantly more and conceded less. However, getting clean sheets has been an issue lately.

Yep, we should be aiming to win all our February games, March and April will be much tougher. Away game against 20th-placed Plymouth won't be easy but we have enough to open them up. We should also be able to keep a clean sheet for once! 2-0 Coventry.

Match Thread Coventry City - Millwall FC Match Thread - Sunday 11th Feb

I think Wright WILL play vs Maidstone, but fair enough. Yes, Stoke is away, but they are very poor. Plymouth away may well be a tough fixture, but they're ALL tough fixtures, and it's easier to grab 3 points there on the counter-attack than to take three from Leeds at home on the front foot I'd...

Match Thread Coventry City - Millwall FC Match Thread - Sunday 11th Feb

Robins will continue to rotate the players, it’s what he does, whether SBT likes it or not. He see himself as having a deep squad, and the more games we win the more it looks like he does. As to Wright, 11 goals and 5 assists so far in all competitions, and I’d like to think he’ll put 3 past...

Looking at the table now that was a bad red card/loss vs. Norwich. Shouldn't be giving them a sniff of a play-off place. Hoping we can kick on from here vs. 18th/15th/20th and then home to PNE - 12/12 points please and an easy win at Maidstone.

    Cup draw

Just watched Forest vs Brizzle highlights Forest looked awful. Unless the highlights were rigged Brizzle should have won easily. Hope Forest get through the next round and we draw them in the QF.

    Transfer Rumour Haji Wright

Yeah Wright is fantastic. Looked pretty good in the middle as you said; now he's up and running he will continue to score/create and should be on top of goals and assists this season. Teams seem to have cottoned onto to Sakamoto's threat, will be interesting to see if he can continue to score...

Just not sure who you can swap out for Sakamoto. Someone suggested Simms or Godden centre, Palmer left, Wright right? Might work. Otherwise he’s never going to get a break. Tavares other option I guess.

    Centre forward problem

A conundrum, Wright may well be our best option as Centre-Forward, but he's better on the left. But it allows us to fit Sakamoto, O'Hare, Palmer, Sheaf and Torp in, so is probably our best line up. So I suspect we'll see Wright in the middle more - especially if Palmer is going to have a bit of...

    Wright 9(5); O'Hare 9(2); Godden 9(0); Sakamoto 7(2); Simms 4(2); Sheaf 4(2); Palmer 3(3) - this is a pretty good return isn't it?
