I wish the Telegraph wouldn't build our hopes up like this!

What's the difference between David Bell and a camel? One can cross deserts all day long and the other one can hardly cross the ball at all.

    League One

We are very much a selling club. Who else are we going to sell who is worth anything at all may I ask?

    Thorn wants Sky Blues stay

Typical. I get about 5 or 6 answers about whether or not the board will stand by Thorn and 9 pages of pro Thorn / anti Thorn argument. Detention for the whole class and 1000 lines each saying 'I must pay attention.' I might just stick a thread up with the remit 'absolutely no nudity...

    Thorn wants Sky Blues stay

Didn't you just know it! :D I just have this sneaky feeling that our owners will think they can behave in exactly the same manner as this season next year, but believing that a good manager would work wonders!

Anyone else think that even if we won our last two games

Yep. Isn't akin to a shoplifter complaining when caught for stealing bars of chocolate that all the stuff on display was close to the doors and it was therefore the shops fault for creating the temptation.

    Sky blue song

What's the tune? Sounds like a song that would be quite unique and could be sustained too.

    Thorn wants Sky Blues stay

They probably don't even know what he said.

Was thinking more in terms of us giving camels to them rather than the other way round!

    Thorn wants Sky Blues stay

Andy Thorn insists he wants to lead Coventry next season - regardless of which division the club finds itself. Putting personal thoughts aside, do you think the board will give him that extended stay? I will say not. I am thinking that they will probably believe that a 'better' manager...

    Guess the attendance - Milwall+Doncaster

Less. But of course the club count ST holders whether they turn up or not. Officially it will be about 11,000, but I think it will be closer to 10 with the stayaways. 11,203. Actually 10,014

Anyone else think that even if we won our last two games

He would also be hoping that, that would be the green light for the club to overspend wildly on players again next season knowing that any implosion would occur maybe 2 years down the line. He can then moan again in two years time about how harshly treated they've been after they've been...

Wouldn't we be better off going into Saturday's game believing we are down?

I still say we are going down whether we win or not on Saturday, Paxman. just thinking of the best way to get a decent performance and a victory out of the team that's all.

Anyone else think that even if we won our last two games

No, I do say we are still going down, but wouldn't it be absolutely galling to go down after our winning both games and Bristol losing both theirs? I would be well pee'd off if that happened.

Anyone else think that even if we won our last two games

To be honest, for what it's worth, I can see Barnsley getting a point at Bristol. You remember how difficult they were to break down when we had them up here at the Ricoh? Now they are safe maybe they will do what Peterborough did to us.

Anyone else think that even if we won our last two games

In view of the goal difference, are you prepared to lose 12 nil? :D

Anyone else think that even if we won our last two games

and Bristol lost both of theirs, that Pompey would fook everything up, win both theirs and we would go down anyway? Just how galling would that scenario be? :o

Bet if we promised half a dozen Oman national team players into our City squad that would tip the balance. That and a camel each.

Wouldn't we be better off going into Saturday's game believing we are down?

Saturday's is the must win of all must wins isn't it. There must be tremendous pressure on the team. Best send them out telling them to just go out as if we are down and for them to enjoy the game and just try and put in a good performance and win the match. Clingan and Cranie should be...

Wouldn't we be better off going into Saturday's game believing we are down?

I just think we need to play without the pressure. Be interesting to see how AT plays it.

Are News Now just trying to rub our noses in it here!!

I worked out it was because of the Freddy link, but looking down the page at first glance it just seemed like they had suddenly started to list League 2 promotion hopefuls assuming we'd already gone down!! :D
