True. I know I didn't buy any of it. Every time I hear us linked with another player I just say it's another players we aren't going to get. Will Thorn quit like he threatened? He did say he would only stay if he got the backing and a decent budget. This seems to say the opposite.

Doesn't it? Thought everyone was saying that since last Thursday the goalposts had moved somewhat.

This statement also seems to strike of blackmail and is trying to force the hand of Higgs/ACL/The Council.

AT does need his head testing. Surely he realises this list of players he has lined up is just a futile window shopping gesture.

Exactly as I suspected. Wouldn't be surprised if we sold Keogh and brought no players in. And 'no-one should expect an immediate return to the Championship?' He's having a laugh!! I am half expecting a drop to League Two. We need Sisu gone. It's that simple.

    Takeover may be quite close.....

Total bollocks!! The Pope doesn't have a hairdresser.

IF sisu get the ricoh and invest in the team.....

If Sisu inject cash into the team it will be; 'Okay devil, you've just given me the candy cane and chocolate bars, when do I get the red hot poker up my arse!"

    Anyone watching.?

I think the winners of this match may well make the play-off final.

IF sisu get the ricoh and invest in the team.....

Fact is, I would just support the team and that is the only thing that is important. Did we stop supporting the team this season when the owners failed to support the manager?

    Takeover may be quite close.....

One day the pot will run dry. We are already very close. Last year where Turner and Juke were bringing in somewhere between 1/2 mil and 1 mill each at a guess, this season we have no-one worth owt. Keogh the only player who would bring a decent fee, and in decent I am talking no more than...

    Takeover may be quite close.....

Yep, we did wonder how long they could could keep going last year. Trouble is now this year we no longer have any family silver to sell, Keogh apart.

Is Sisu owning half the ground a good thing?

You get the feeling that if they got hands on half the stadium and money was being made, this would go back to their investors while we continue to slip down and down the leagues.

    Takeover may be quite close.....

While I can. Paxman is still in the paddock with his blinkers on though I think.

    Takeover may be quite close.....

Work that out and you've a pretty good steer to who I'm talking about as my source! (I've practically told you with that last clue) Hmm, Steve Bull? Chris Cowdrey? Gary Hoofman?

    Takeover may be quite close.....

Tis ticker tape. That's what I meant to put! One of us obviously can't spell and I don't think it's you.

    Takeover may be quite close.....

Well I believe it! 100%. Totally straight down the middle!! 2nd hand info is usually spot-on. Now excuse me while I pop down Wilko's to get some ticket tape and a box of party poppers.

    Justifiably Proud or hollow victory

Putting everything else aside, I'm just pleased someone else has won it for once. The Premier had been getting stale with all the domination of Man U, Chelsea and until a little while ago, Arsenal.
