Don't we still have an Australian on our books although treating Wigan fans at the moment with his skills? Or have I missed him being included already?

Match Thread West Bromwich Albion - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 21st Feb

Not many happy memories of the Hawthorns for me. First game there was the 7-1 mauling but Fergie scored a great goal for our consolation. Wasn't keen on the Qtr final cup game when we got attacked as we left the ground. Ironically they had won.

U21s lost 7-1 to Wigan yesterday after losing 9-0 to them at home a few months back. Any chance we can get hold of some of their strikers?

What was the sliding doors moment of the season

His mother mentioned it to someone I know but she could have got the wrong end of the stick. Like a lot of these things they are never made public so we will probably never know 100%

What was the sliding doors moment of the season

From what I have heard Bamford's contract with Leeds ran until summer 2026 and although he had been "let go" by Leeds they were still paying him (almost £2m per year I believe). Whoever signed him would not only have had to give him a contract but also pay a sum of money to Leeds by way of...

Kai Andrews off to Hibs. Never sure about loans to Scottish teams but I think he did okay at Motherwell last season.

Still at 2 points a game

Just looked at the results since Frank took over and weirdly there appears to be some sort of 18 game limit to results success. Using Millwall last season as the starting point his first 18 games yielded W13, D2, L3, the next 12 gave us W4, D2, L6. This season the first 18 games were W13, D4, L1...

    Frank

The "hole" in midfiled has been obvious for some time now and opposition teams have worked this out. They are not always successful but if I can spot this then I am unsure why our management cannot. JDS' average position last night was in the opposition half and as a result Kitching's average...

    Haji right

Great shout. Just checked 2013/14 season and there were in fact 4 in double figures as Carl Baker got 10 but only if you include cup games. Weird season - scored 74 goals and finished 18th. Only 3 teams scored more and yet only 5 points off being relegated. Probably something to do with...

    Haji right

Apologies if this should be on another thread but now Haji is in double figures for goals when was the last time we had three players all in double figures especially at this stage of the season? Must be some years ago

    Is Norwich sold out?

The Belgian Monk in Pottersgate is a brilliant place, loads of great beer and food, a lot of which is coeliac friendly (if that's something you need like me)

    Is Norwich sold out?

That's buisness folks! I usually end up paying for hospitality these days as all the good seats are gone by the time I can get a ticket and at my age hospitality is a more pleasant prospect! Funnily enough I attended Norwich away last season.........and wished I hadn't.

    Is Norwich sold out?

This is not a complaint, more a shoulder shrug of acceptance. I had a season ticket for years but moved away from the area. I still attended many home and away games but then kids scuppered that. I started going more frequently again in about 2013 (the fallow years) including unforgettable trips...

    Rudoni

Looking at his stats comparing this season with last, he is making more progressive passes and carries per gane as well as take ons and touches in the oppostion box but obviously his assists and goals are way down as well as his tackilng and interceptions stats. This makes me think he is less...

Boxing Day Matches - The Memories.

My favourite league game of all time never mind just boxing day. I can remember so many details about it despite it being nearly 50 years ago. in the west end with my dad (unusually as he always preferred the kop). Just shows how great football is that you have these treasured memories so many...

Match Thread Birmingham City - Coventry City Match Thread - Sunday 4th Jan

I rarely post but having a professional interest in figres I was interested in how for the last month or so things have changed. Coventry have the 3rd highest number of throughballs played against them (only Preston and Norwich above them) but the 12th most played by them. They have the 10th...
