The overall investment of SU is completely irelavent, we were in a very similar position this time last year despite very little investment, a couple of signings of this ilk would have probably seen us home.

Away days are different though Nick aren't they, all about the "big day out" different Atmosphere, different match day experience but more importantly different surroundings.

We already have league 2 and below standard players, but yeah you're probably still right.

Anyone remember the Spion Kop / HR

Jees! That would have been massive, the kop at anfield has 12000 seats, so it would be that Plus maybe 14000 standing, they would have had to demolish Swan lane.

Yeah that's the ones, I'm sure we got them from Twickenham, before that there was a row Of boxes at the front of the main stand, just wandering if they replaced them.

That seems unbelievably big, the Holte End was the largest open (kop) terrace in the Country with just over 30.000 but all standing, kop at Anfield, kop at Hillsboro and the Southbank at Wolves not far behind, none of those contained seats. Have you any link to this. Cheers

If we go down will Mowbray go down as one of our worst ever managers?

No but it broke the never ending monotony of nothingness both before and after it.

If we go down will Mowbray go down as one of our worst ever managers?

They would have had to take us to the top of the league at some point to achieve that.

So if we'd have gone up last season we would have been rock bottom below Rotherham, I'm glad we didn't go up now, bring on league 2.

Sheffield united making signings that will virtually guarantee them gaining promotion out of this shit league, if only we had been thinking along the same lines this time last year.

But Wilson was attainable, right up to the moment he signed for Rotherham. I struggle to blame any manager at this club over the past few years, I don't think any of us Can really appreciate the constraints from which they have to work within.
