    I love the FA cup

I look at that list and I could weep. What the hell happened to such a fantastic competition? It is so sad. :(:(

    I love the FA cup

Used to be. Still a very good competition, but once upon a time it was great. 1996 Manchester Utd 1997 Chelsea 1998 Arsenal 1999 Manchester United 2000 Chelsea 2001 Liverpool 2002 Arsenal 2003 Arsenal 2004 Manchester United 2005 Arsenal 2006 Liverpool...

Anyone watching that diving comp on ITV

Nice. The stainless steel's all gleaming and the tiles look nice and clean. Someone has done a lovely job of bringing it up to scratch. Water looks nice too. Who's the bird at the front though?

Wrong board on here, or Jade on the wrong board in the diving competition? :thinking about:

Yeah, but he's a half-pint cheeky, chirpy Cockney. That excuses him.

    Tottenham v Coventry match thread

Nope. They won't be big games for people until we get to Wembley and then 50,000 City fans will be saying they went to every single round.

bad results in league one today

'Carry on playing like this!' That's it in a nutshell and is one hell of a big, big ask. Even more so when you take into account our home form, which is quite dreadful.

bad results in league one today

I am still getting slaughtered for saying 14th, yet after a fantastic unbeaten run I am only just 2 places out at the mo! Good job Wilko's don't sell pitchforks! :D

I predicted 2-0 so am not too unhappy either. Today was always a distraction. Thursday is the big game!

    Tottenham v Coventry match thread

Which is why I said on another thread that it makes a difference when you are at home in the cup. Also key is an under par performance from the higher standing team. Any Premiership team that is at their best is going to beat a lower league team 99 times out of a 100. Had Spurs put in a sub...

Don't say that! I said 14th and got slaughtered. You deserve at least a mini slaughter for 12th.

    Tottenham v Coventry match thread

But we clearly should have had at least a draw out of the Shrewsbury gaame and today was all but a write off anyway. We needed Spurs to be under par to get anything today. Thursday is a whole new ball game. Sent from my KIS using Tapatalk 2

    Tottenham v Coventry match thread

Yep. 51 places between the two sides. What do people expect? I am not too unhappy at all. As long as we can be competitive and not just lie down. Thursday is the big game anyway. Sent from my KIS using Tapatalk 2

Just remember the Arsenal got 6

I would normally, but remember Brum in the cup! In the cup it is quite different usually. You can have a rotten season and still pull off a giant killing. I would have fancied us at home for this one.

Just remember the Arsenal got 6

That's the way to treat it. 51 places separate us in the leagues. if we were at home we might have had more of a chance, but at WHL with them having the players they have, it should be a comfortable win for them. I would be happy at 0-2 and a good performance from us.

    Lee Bowyer

And the point is, Astute, this isn't about if any of us want him or not. If he comes he comes and there's nowt we can do about it. Same as Marlon King. Unless of course people then decide they don't wish to go as sort sort of protest. If he comes here we just have to get on with it and that's...
