Spoke to my mother yesterday - she's a bookkeeper for several companies and self employed people. She said the paperwork for claiming some of the govt help may not be available until June 1st and then (even if HMRC are at full capacity) going to take a while to process everything.

Way it is staggered globally going to be some effects at least 6 months assuming no 2nd waves etc.

We're ramping it up here. Lockdown (but still some anomalies). Only those over 65 allowed in shops, pharmacies etc between 9 and 12 o'clock. Not allowed outside those times. But apparently haircuts and manicures considered essential activities!!

We've been told here in Hungary today that the peak will be June/July. So could literally be looking at 12 week plus lockdown. Everyone behaving atm but that long a period is going to test some's resolve. Agriculture going to be hard hit as we import a lot of the inputs and we're a big growing...
