As others have said £3m is loose change to a PL club. As long as this is added to the playing budget, all well and good. Get a Carey plus that Oxford centre half, plus battle hardened players ready to supplement our youngsters. Team improvement and we should have half a chance next season.

Agree - it will be really interesting to see where Lee Burge goes; as someone else said, surely others who are / have been interested will have spotted the flaws in his game (good at making saves, the rest generally weak) and unless he has a cast iron agreement, I'd be nervous if I was the club...

Meaning you haven't decided yet, as this description doesn't reveal a lot either? That's not a criticism of the description, just a slightly unusual choice of a word to describe a player. I haven't seen enough of him myself to make my mind up.
