I would just play Lameiras instead of Tudgay on Saturday. The reason being that both Fortune and Tudgay are players who hold the ball up to bring others into play rather than being out and out goal getters. Similar players in some ways. Lameiras playing just behind Fortune (or Tudgay) would...

I'm not scared to play anyone. What are you wittering on about you damn fool! :D You said 'So never play him again?' And I have him in for the very next match. Lol

Which is exactly the reason we wouldn't want him here at our club.

Err, haven't I just chosen him in my starting 11 for Saturday? :thinking about: I've just picked him to play! He has been out of sorts lately, but I would certainly play him on Saturday.

Can't see much wrong with that at all, other than it being illegal. Only one looks a half-hearted effort. He moves forwards and then dives sideways. All he's doing is trying to narrow the angles.

Yep. Supposed to stay on their line. From that still though the player is right at the point of striking the ball and it looks like RCC has only taken the tiniest move forwards. Need to see the video to be quite honest. That still doesn't quite give the full picture. Couldn't access the video...

Yeah, but this is SBT, so that obviously means we all want to chase after him with pitchforks and then burn him alive at the stake.

That position looks perfect to me from that still.

Doesn't moving forwards reduce the angles and narrow the area the striker has to shoot into?

Not JOB haters at all. I rate the bloke, but he has been a pale shadow of his best these past few games. I know he was ill and that may have some bearing on things, but he has been poor lately.

Well that's the problem. I think he will only be included because we will struggle to put in anyone else.

Yep. Exactly the same line-up I chose. Lameiras just behind Fortune, Murphy and JOB on the wings.

Tudgay unfortunately is very wasteful in front of goal. Now missed a number of really good opportunities. Don't know how you can say Fortune and Tudgay are equally good replacements for Armstrong. Neither of them is a goal getter. TM himself says Fortune is a provider rather than a goalscorer.

Nope. It wasn't just 2 clean sheets though, it was also two very confident performances.

Just noticed that Rotherham have just approached Walsall's Dean Smith about their mangerial vacancy. Approach turned down, but this may cause a little bit of uncertainty in the Walsall camp.

Also, Bury v Wigan. That'll be tough for Bury and Sheff Utd v Rochdale, both of which are just behind us. Could be a massive weekend if we win.
